This place is chill. I come here to get bread or a drink every other morning. It looks run down from outside(I mean, its newark what are you expecting) but when you walk in its very inviting. Has a home style feel to it. Bread is baked there and I hear the coffee is VERY good. I would like to try the coffee myself but coffee gives me bad breath and diarrhea. So sadly, I can’t vouch for it too much. Service is a little slow but c’mon… it’s a freaking café. Place is clean and homely. 5 stars, well done.

They have great breakfest option, their Tosta Mixta is really good, with an excellent type of cheese. The Tasted Bread is homemade bread style and really tasty, coffes, teas and smoothies. Super cheap!

From the outside, Jordan’s doesn’t look too appealing, but once you pass through the door that changes dramatically. Nice décor and good presentation. Really nice looking wooden tables to enjoy the food there. Mostly everything looks new or well maintained. Hot and cold sandwiches for $ 3-$ 4.50. Pretty decent selection of deli meats, tuna, and chicken salad. Latte, Cappuccino, and espresso for all under $ 3.50. And the coffee here is actually pretty good. Rolls, cookies, turnovers, and many other pastries baked on location. I’m starting to understand why they have a few delivery trucks making rounds in the AM. Would definitely suggest for anyone moving to the Ironbound.
