Goodwill Industries of Delaware & Delawre Cnty

Used to be great. Now the prices are full blown retail. Lost the idea of being Goodwill. New manager I guess.

I’ve been to this Goodwill a couple times and I think they have a great selection of clothing. Usually thrift stores only have grandma clothes, but this place has a lot of stuff college students and adults would actually wear. The store is always clean and well-​kept and the staff are very friendly.

This is one of my favorite goodwill stores to shop at, and among my favorite thrift stores to shop at. It’s moderate-​sized and has a good turnover. Good, as in, die-​hard enthusiasts might enjoy coming here every week, but I find it’s more useful for me to come here about once a month for optimal turnover.
The prices are markedly lower here than in the salvation army. As in, items that cost $ 8 there often cost only about $ 4 here. I’ve also found some surprisingly high-​quality items that were in very good condition.
I find the «junk» — odds and ends in the back of the store, less useful than in some other thrift stores. I.e. I haven’t ever found any good cookware or dishware here. I prefer shopping for clothing here. I think the clothing is above average, and there’s a good selection.
I also find this a very pleasant store, and it’s also easily accessible either by car or by foot. The people who work here have always been very nice.
