History
Established in 1956.
Once upon a time, two brothers decided to open a parking lot. So they purchased property on Edison Street in the center of Newark’s bustling commercial district. On day one, they parked 23 automobiles and made $ 11.50.
Today those first nickels and dimes collected in 1956 have grown to become a multi-million dollar company. Edison Properties’ diverse portfolio of assets comprises over 5.6 million square feet of prime real estate. The majority of these businesses are located in Manhattan, one of the world’s most valuable real estate and business markets.
Currently Edison owns over 17 Manhattan Mini Storage facilities and 39 ParkFast locations.
