Specialties

We are a small family farm that use no hormones or antibiotics in raising our livestock. We offer pasture raised beef, pasture and grain fed pork and free range chicken and eggs. We sell by the whole, half and quarter. We also have ODA inspected pakaged meats. We are licensed by the Licking County Health Department to deliver your order to your home or business in any county in Ohio. Feel free to contact us with any questions. We are at the Jefferson Township Farmers Market Blacklick, Ohio every Saturday from 9am to 12pm. We have all our available meats with us.

History

Established in 2007.

In 2007 Rod and Wendy Davidson took over the daily opertaion of the Davidson Family Farm located outside of Morristown, Ohio. In 2011 they moved the farming operation outside of Newark, Ohio were it remains today. They expanded the operation to include broiler chickens and pigs. In 2012 they were licensed by the Ohio Department of Agriculture to store processed meats on the farm. They also were licensed by the Licking County Health Department for their mobile unit to be able to deliver to homes and businesses. They continue to grow and plan on expanding the farm to include rabbit.

Rodney, Wendy D.

Business Owner

Rodney was born in Wheeling, Wva and raised on a farm located outside of Morristown, Ohio. In 1987 he graduated from college with a degree in nursing. He has been a farmer and Registered Nurse for the last 27 years. He has 4 wonderful children with the youngest being 3 years old. He is married to his wonderful wife Wendy and together they work the farm. He feels that God has blessed him and likes sharing the blessings with other people.

Wendy was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She went to college and received a degree in nursing. She met Rodney at the hospital they both worked at and was married in 2006. In 2010 she left nursing to raise their youngest son. She now loves staying home and running the family business. She loves her family and the farm life and wouldn’t trade it for the world. She to loves to share Gods blessings.
