This restaurant provides a complete catering package that includes all food, drink, off-​site hall rental, and DJ, at various local halls: Clube Açores, Sport Clube Português, etc.
While the party was festive, the food was mediocre. With the vast amount of restaurant options available in the neighborhood, it is sad not to see a better effort.
It was nice catching up with old friends and family members, especially on Mother’s Day. All the moms saved from cooking was an especially nice side benefit of today’s little party.
While I was clearly out of my element, the day was not a total loss. Being so familial, there was a point when many little kids were dancing. When I looked a little closer, I noticed that my little cousin and nephew (ages 7 & 8) were dancing with a lively group of about a dozen girls from pre-​K to pre-​teen; seemingly the life of the party. I could not help feeling a rush of pride for the little stud muffins. I was beaming for the rest of the afternoon. Each step seemed a bit lighter.
