I should have checked my follow Unilocalers’ reviews and NOT buy coffee here. It was horrible and I should have waited to get the one on the plane. Beware!

Terrible coffee. I ordered a red-eye(coffee with 1 shot of expresso) and what I got tasted like watered down coffee. Terrible to say the least.

Newark airport should be ashamed of themselves. Terminal A is a joke. The people who worked here were very nice but the food was disgusting. I think my wrap was soaked in water overnight. It was like a piece of slop. Oh– and terminal C is now so overpriced that it borders on price gouging.

Rudest workers ever, making fun of disabled customers is truly deplorable. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

Worst managed coffee place anywhere. Ordered an Americano. Simple, right? Other drinks and sandwiches get served before mine for people w go ordered after me. Burned sandwich. Then someone unscrewed the lid on the honey and it feel into the coffee. Asked for a new cup so I could tamer my beverage. Nope. Not a well managed place for a place who is supposed to know how to make coffee.

Just ordered a black coffee. It’s decent. The cashier was the friendliest employee I’ve encountered in the entire airport. She made my terrible morning of canceled flight and waiting 3 hours for a new one MUCH better. :) thanks, Lady!

It’s unfortunate that a place with the word ‘coffee’ in its name doesn’t actually serve decent coffee. That, and a cranberry muffin that tasted day-old(and found its way into the bin after one bite) makes for a place you should just skip right past. Not a lot of options in EWR’s A terminal, admittedly, but you don’t need THIS coffee THAT badly.

What can you really say about airport food lol I have had a few drinks from here over the past few years, and just one conclusion… it sucks. The drinks taste like straight syrup with some watered down milk, the coffee is just mehh, it taste like starbucks besides the frappachinos, and cool vibe of starbucks, the coffee taste like crap lol to me but it still taste low grade/low quality. Would i come back again, unfortunately there are no other choices here… so yea unless you want to eat in the desert known as Earl of sandwich :) Staff/service were fine. Greeted and thanked(that’s why it gets 2 stars rather than 0)

Second update, walked out of here today because as a paying customer I cannot stand for the cashier talking rudely or in a loud voice — that too before they take an order.

Asked for a coffee with no room. I watched the lazy employee try to get what’s left of the brew in the machine and then closed the cup and gave it to me. I opened it to find a half cup of coffee. I asked her to top it off and she said that she’ll have to add espresso. I told her to. If I wouldn’t have opened the coffee lid to see what is in there, I would have ended up on a plane with a half cup of coffee. Her excuse… people like room in their coffee. I asked for no room, and that excuses is pretty poor considering she ran out of coffee and was too lazy to make more or tell me, it’ll be a minute, do you mind?

Employees were friendly, breakfast sandwiches are terrible. Bacon egg and cheese was on a roll 2x the size of egg patty, the cheese wasn’t even on the egg but next to it on the roll, at least the bacon was tasty? Had to remake the sandwich to eat it. Unfortunately it’s your only morning option for hot good.

Breakfast sandwich was disgusting. Iced tea was ok but that was not ‘light ice’ like I asked for. And we were completely amazed at how badly they were able to mangle our order.

Came off a flight, thought we’d have some breakfast here. Was told they wouldn’t have breakfast sandwiches for 20 minutes. Came back about 25 minutes later. Was told that they wouldn’t have breakfast sandwiches for another 20 minutes. ??? Evidently, they don’t make the food there anyway. Moving on.

Asked for egg and cheese on a bagel which she said was not available although there are bagels sitting right at the counter. Was going to charge me $ 9 to have it on a bagel instead of $ 6 if I really wanted it. Was forced to take a croissant egg and cheese. Absolutely disgustingly greasy and had to throw it away. Don’t order breakfast sandwiches from there!

Good place with some healthy light breakfast to go items(fruit, greek yogurt, bottled smoothies, and coffee). Have had hot breakfast here & it is fine. Service is almost always pretty upbeat, friendly & efficient. I come here pretty regularly & one morning they had no espresso drinks because both of their machines were broken, which was pretty unacceptable considering they are the only coffee shop in Terminal A. Other than that it is pretty reliable for the necessities.

Located in Terminal A. $ 7.50 for a small black coffee, a bottle of water and a chocolate muffin. Not bad for an airport. The coffee was good, but the muffin was kind of dry. For the number of people traveling in and out of this airport, you’d think the pastries would be fresh, but I’m not surprised they weren’t.

First off Marte Diaz, needs to be fired. I asked for my sandwich to be put in the panini press and was told my sandwich is cold. I told her I understood, which is why I asked to have it put into the press. She gets her manager(Kathy) to confirm that it can be done(which it could be). Marte was not happy with the answer who turned to me and begin to give me grief for asking to have my sandwich pressed. She then demissed me in the worst tone possible. I would suggest to anyone to walk the ten feet to the sandwich of earl and get your food there. There’s no reason why someone like Marte should have a customer facing job.

Let me start by saying that when I stepped up here to order coffee I was already pissed off from my experience next door at Boar’s Head. All I wanted was a cup of coffee, but, like Boar’s Head, there were WAY too many people here for the space. Why does everyone in the Terminal hate their job? The cashiers were the rudest people I’ve experienced-if you hate people, you hate your job, and aren’t smart enough to come up with a better system than the one that seems to piss you off then find a new job. The coffee was fine, when I finally got it. It wasn’t Starbucks, but it was good, it was strong, and was better than Dunkin Donuts. The service on the other hand sucked. Three stars because they gave me a decent cup-o-Joe for $ 2.62. Service sucked, but I think I made that clear. I know a place like this doesn’t care and won’t read this, because they have you over a barrel-there are no other coffee choices.

I am not to sure why everyone hates this place, but my groups experience here was pretty good. I consider myself to be a bit of a coffee snob, and I didn’t think my iced latte was all that bad; It was actually quite strong and not diluted My friends iced coffee was also pretty standard, not any worse then dunkin donuts. I am not sure if I would choose this place if there was any other choice in the airport, but overall I probably would choose it over dunkin donuts

You don’t really have a choice, do you? Of course airport anything is over priced. Their iced coffee. whatever. the worker clearly hated her job. what saved this place from me giving the place a 2 star is the fact that their cupcake was decently good.
