Not bad at all. The kids had fried shrimp and fries. I had shrimp fried rice with no egg. My wife had garlic chicken. Based on the reviews here, this place was my second or third choice. I am only a block away from this place. The family and I started walking towards our first choice Chinese Restaurant, Splendid China. We then met with a dead end at West 155th St. New here, on vacation. We came back to our block and went inside Yong Sheng. The lobby is very small. There is no eat-in. The lady who took our order was very nice and made sure she understood what we needed by repeating and writing it. The foods were prepared in a timely manner. They were placed in a bag with extra plates and utensil. The kids eat with no issues. This was good for a guy who have not eaten Chinese food in a very long period of time, 8 years to be exact.

Really fast delivery. Regardless of who delivers I live in a 5th floor walk up and they are always so friendly when I open my door. And very grateful. I can’t say the same about the lady who answers the phone. There’s two of them — ones very patient, courteous and attentive. The other one is rude, dismissive and impatient. I hate giving her my order because immediately hangs up the phone without all proper information being relayed. Food is 6⁄10.

Got the General Tso chicken combo, wonton soup, and broccoli with garlic sauce. All DELICIOUS! Generous servings that’ll feed 2 – 3 people.

So this will def. be my new go-to for Chinese Food take out. It’s not one of those point-and-scoop spots, there is some preparation done after you order which means it just tastes fresher. They deliver or you can pick up and the prices are very reasonable. We got the sesame chicken combo with noodles, and dumplings. All were good. Oh and PS they had an ‘A’ rating on their door… so that helps.

Yong Sheng isn’t bad, at least as far as the food goes. Its right across the street so it tends to be more of a convenience thing, than anything else. They do not deliver, so ordering(unless by phone) and picking up is frantic mess. You walk into a space thats like 8 by 6, and its always packed with loud, rude people(typically youngins). They’re all yelling and making jokes at the Asians expense. Don’t get me wrong, Im all for a good, tasteful, racial joke. But these people aren’t even funny, just ill-mannered, rude, and crass. I feel sorry for the employees, because you can see that they are pissed, and that if they didn’t need the business, they’d karate chop their asses out of the store. Oh well, what’re you gonna do? The good thing is, that the lady who normally works the phone and window recognizes me(probably helps that Im one of the few white patrons), so as soon as I walk in she hands me my food and Im out. Their wings are hearty and good. Chix szechuan is good(I do extra veggies). Dont do the fried fish, too fishy. If you are in the area, Jin Hui might be a better option.
