I came to this business because I needed someone who would be aggressive and smart in getting me the best tax return. Yes, the drive was long but absolutely worth it.
Alex Zolotuzky came highly recommended from a colleague of mine who has used him for a few years now. I can see why. There is another person who is a CPA here but I didn’t meet her so this review speaks for Alex. I walked into the office which was easy to find, even from someone like myself who is not from Brooklyn. I was greeted promptly by Alex, who initially thought I spoke Russian, and realizing that I don’t, apologized and was very helpful in getting me the forms I needed to fill out before out appointment. The wait was almost none, I had filled out the form quickly, and stepped into the back office to discuss last year’s income tax preparation. I liked the fact that Alex was straightforward and very helpful, we went over all of my expenses, things that I could claim, things that I couldn’t, and things that I didn’t even think about which was essential to me getting a decent return. I was able to have him e-​sign my return, and I was very pleased with the work he did as well as the price he charged. Quite inexpensive, which I love, even on a resident salary. I would highly recommend Alex for your tax preparation needs. My only downfall is that I wish I would have gone in earlier! He doesn’t take appointments, it is a walk in service, which was fine, even a week before tax time is due! The office is clean and decent, and the other staff members that I interacted with were friendly and smiling.
