Love this place! I’ve searched high and low doe a great facial in NYC and finally found it. No frills spa, but great service and Anca really knows her stuff. My skin is always glowing and refreshed when I leave!!!

I came in for a basic facial with Anca. She was incredibly nice and offered a lot of great advice about my skin. I would definitely go back and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a facial.

What a lovely experience! Anca was fantastic! My skin never looked so good. Anca was very professional, highly skilled, wonderful personality and she made excellent recommendations. One of the best basic facial I had for $ 140/​hour. It was worth every penny! My skin regained the elasticity and the fine lines disappeared. I feel confident and beautiful again.

Intraceuticals 02 Facial oxygen infusion 1 hour treatment is $ 285 by Anca.
Pros: 1) I get a good result, my skin get glow and hydrated; 2) nice facial massage; 3) beautiful decoration; 4) stuff is welcoming and friendly; 5) $ 1750 for a 6 treatment and full kit of intraceuticals gel, creams and cleanser; 6) gave me an examples of all creams that she used.
Cons: 1) Anca didn’t know much about Intraceuticals line. When I asked her what’s the difference between all lines of Intraceuticals, I didn’t get a clear and understandable answer, she just said which one is good for me, but why it’s good she didn’t explain; 2) Anca was keep pushing me to try mask, or peeling or smth else, I told her a couple times that I don’t need to do nothing else only oxygen treatment but she still pushing me to do something else; 3) I came to try Intraceuticals treatment and all the line of that product but instead of that she was using on me different product as Biologique. I know that is good product too, but my specific need was Intraceuticals line.

I started going to this spa as a recommendation from a close friend of mine. I went it for a facial and deep cleansing. I also had my eyebrows done after which I realized was a big plus. It’s funny because with eyebrows you only see a the big improvement after you look at pictures of yourself from before and you notice how bushy and wild they were and now their nice and taken care of.
I had a very dry complexion and needed something.
I never used any cream. After their recommendations I started using the cream that Anca Macavei recommended me and after 2 weeks I see a huge improvement especially under my eyes.
Thank you for taking the time to explain me the in and outs and for being patient with me. I will definitely recommend you and the spa to anyone I know.

What a great find! Loved this spa tucked away on 60^th street. The staff was very friendly and Anca did a fantastic facial! I walked out of there feeling so clean, plump and fresh and all she did was a basic facial. Love, loved it! I have very sensitive skin so I am always nervous about products spas use and there products were natural and gentle and really made my skin shine. Highly recommend Anca!

I highly recommend to get you facial from this place! Please, make sure that you book it with Anca, she is the best skin therapist you can get! I got VALMONT REGENERATING COLLAGEN MASK TREATMENT, which gave me incredible results.
I look forward to my next visit.

I love love love this place. I came to see Anca for both a facial and waxing and I had an absolutely great experience. Aside from being very skilled and knowledgeable, Anca was very kind and funny. My face is glowing! Waxing was painless. I will be back soon.

Loved their facial! I am very picky when it comes to my face but this place is very good. I tried the facial from both the owner and one of the girls who works there and was happy with both of them.
I usually get the regular facial but my mom gets a remodeling facial (which I think is supposed to be anti aging) and she says it is effective.

I got a gift certificate for deep cleansing facial for men 60 minutes and I enjoyed the facial massage, extractions and the cooling mask by Anca.

What great hands… I fully enjoyed my facial with Anca, her hands are so soft but so strong, even the ugly black heads part wasn’t to painful, the end massage was perfect. I fully recommend this person for a dream facial.

OMG! This is my first Unilocal review and I have decided to donate it to my favorite SPA in NYC. I am so glad that I have found Yasmine Djerradine. It is a hidden gem that located just cross the street of my favorite shop Barney’s which is on the 60^th and Madison ave.
I really love the vibe of the salon itself. It’s calm and and the décor makes me feel like I am in a SPA in Thailand. I go there every once two weeks for my deep cleansing and glycolic facial. My facialist Anca is my lifesaver. She is so knowledgable when comes to my skin problems as well as very patient to very questions that I asked to her. She even reference a well known Dermatologist to me because I need one.
I can see an obviously improvement to my skin. I would like to recommend this place to everyone who is seeking for beautiful skin and willing to have a relax facial or massage after shopping in Midtown. I also go there for massage after I have done my shopping. It Feels like in heaven.

This is the one and only place I go for facials. I’ve tried so many spas /​estheticians for facials in the city over the years, and hands down, my experience and the end result have been the best here. I’ve seen Nicole about four time for facials and she is skilled, thorough, and focused on results. I highly recommend the Glow on the Go facial, which leaves your skin radiant and younger looking for weeks. They also use very high quality products, most of which are reasonably priced (as far as high end skin care goes!).
The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars, versus 5, is because it lacks a full spa facility. For instance, they don’t have a room where you can reapply makeup after your treatment. Otherwise, it is a beautiful, topnotch and elegant facility.

People consistently started tell me that I look younger than a year ago — I attribute it all to Lily’s facials. She is a genius with skin.

Another time I wish for .5 stars on Unilocal.The location is odd and the décor feels forced, but who cares about that when the services are great and the prices are right. I bought Laser Hair Removal package from Gilt City and have already used two of my six sessions with Natalie and I am thoroughly pleased! She is excellent and quick. One of the times I came in, I had too much razor burn to be safe and she recommended that I come back in at least a week and that they wouldn’t charge me for the session. She would have gone ahead and done the service if I had insisted but I thought this set the tone for someone who was responsible and cares about what she does… not just the money. She also did a good job of recommending something for me to use while shaving without being too pushy. The receptionists are always helpful too. I don’t know if I would come without the deal, but I think that this is a spa to use for specialty services, not necessarily for regular ones.

an entirely underwhelming experience…
to be fair, the masseuse who did my actual treatment (body scrub + massage) was very nice, professional, and great at her job, however, it was the rest of the experience that ruined it for me.
first, for whatever reason, it was extremely noisy the entire time during my treatment. people were talking very loudy in the halls, the a/​c unit was located right outside of the window of the treatment room i was in and was very noisy, and there was a lot of pounding and stomping noises (like construction or something).
second, the actual facilities themselves were not particularly nice, luxurious, or outstanding. the reception area is cutely decorated in warm tones with an indian theme, however, the receptionist was neither polite nor attentive, and there is constant loud doorbell ringing from patrons trying to get into the spa suite. also, in the treatment room itself, the floors were noticeably dirty, and the showering facilities are less than stellar. the whole place just feels a bit dated.
having said that, the overall disappointment for me was simply leaving the spa more stressed than when i entered… never a good sign.

I’ve been here twice — both times for a wax that I got through a package on
. The place is nice, clean and quiet. Both times, I was the only person in the waiting room.
My waxing lady was Karen — who I would recommend — and she was quick and efficient. She even helped me get some extra areas on my leg, for free. YD uses some type of French wax, which always makes the experience a LOT better. I wouldn’t say this was the least painful experience but it was pretty close.
Having said that, the Gilt package that I bought had a relatively tight deadline, which required me to get the wax at short intervals — which could have helped to make it so painless.
Overall, this is pretty good experience but I think it’s worth the price. I would definitely think about getting a wax package here — especially when it goes on deal!
