Yankee Candles are my favorite candles. Was so glad when they finally opened this branch in the Queens Center Mall. We definitely need a Yankee Candle in the area! The space is really small unfortunately. Quite possibly one of the smallest stores in the mall. Which means they don’t have too much variety on display. They do show a good amount of different items/scents they sell. I’m sure if you’re looking for something specific or a specific sent and you ask them that they’ll have it in the back or can order it. Yes, they are kind of pricey but the quality is so totally worth it. Every season/holiday they come out with endless amounts of new scents. Their scented oil plug-in’s are my favorite of all the plug-ins out there. They last, are strong and the plug-ins themselves are pretty. The scented car vent clips last really long too! When they do have sales, the sales and coupons are always great deals. I got a free medium jar candle on Christmas Eve with a coupon they gave me a few weeks earlier! That’s a $ 25 deal! What I really love about the store is the lovely customer service. Every time I’ve been in there recently the same female associate has been there. She’s always so nice, informative and helpful. She showed me this really pretty silver and black sparkly clutch that contained a small jar candle, a votive candle, a car vent clip and a jar of fragrance spheres for only $ 14.99! If it wasn’t for her I would have never known about this item. So pretty and a great deal! I look forward to my next visit to Yankee Candle @ Queens Center. Either splurging on myself or buying cute gifts!

Re-fill time for my bathroom’s Clean Cotton fragrance oil Reed Diffuser, but one blockage impends my re-fill, this location is out of stock in this particular scent. Oh man! The sales associate suggested other scents: sage, coastal something, beach whatever which I absolutely no interest in other scents to have my mind dead set on Clean Cotton. Despite it being out of stock it can be ordered and shipped directly to me which I was willing to go for as my schedule being difficult to return for pickup. The associate is very knowledge of their products as I mentioned the bottle for my fragrance oil Reed Diffuser which are now only sold at Yankee Candle Outlets sadly not currently in their regular retail stores. Since it was out of stock the shipping fee was waived as well as tax, whoa! I do not believe this associate is able to type or he is not attention to detail because I printed my name, shipping address, email, and phone number all on a note pad which he incorrectly inputted my phone number. Tsk, tsk! I did purchase fragrance oil Reed Diffuser sticks. Overall, associates are not abrasive nor pushy unlike large retail stores. This Yankee Candle store sits inside Queens Center Mall.

Very small store compared to the one in Bay Terrace. However, despite how crowded the store felt, it seemed like it had all of same candles as the other store, just maybe less of each scent. I should’ve asked the woman for her name but the women who worked there today was very helpful and answered all of my questions in depth.

The first time I was in Yankee candle, queens center mall, I was greeted by Annalee(not sure correct spelling). She went above and beyond in explaining all the different scents and how to properly care for them. I walked in with the intention to buy 1 candle and walked out with $ 200 worth of goods. I came back into the store again today and her pleasant and genuine attitude was definitely contagious; overall a great shopping experience. Great employee– manager material!

Love YKC. Pink Sands is my favorite scent, but I always go in to smell the new/seasonal scents.

I have been here three times since moving to Queens in December. EVERY time has been fantastic. Two days ago, I came in here to browse for some new scents, and I stayed ANHOUR talking to the two employees, Carlica and Anna-Lee. We really, really had a great time. Anna-Lee is really passionate about all of the different scents, and so I’d mention something like, «Oh, I like Sage and Citrus but I also like Treehouse Memories,» and she’d be like, «AH. That’s because both of those have cloves in them.»(Note: I am not sure if both of those scents actually HAVE cloves in them, but we were talking about scents and cloves and ingredients… I just cannot remember!) Anyway, she was super knowledgable and didn’t try to push anything on me at all.(They don’t do commission there, so there was no incentive for her to help me except for her genuine passion for the scents.) Carlica really went out of her way to find scents that I liked in the back.(For example, I like Treehouse Memories but couldn’t find them in tart form. She searched and found them for me!) It was an amazing shopping experience… certainly an hour well spent. Be sure to stop by the next time you’re in the Queens Mall area… and there are always good sales!

I received a gift certificate for Christmas so I decided to check out this store located in Queens Mall. Located on the second floor, it is tucked away near Bath & Body Works. The sales staff were very helpful and friendly, inquiring if I needed any help or had any questions. Upon the completion of my purchase, the cashier even told me about how a candle needs to be trimmed to about 1/8″ every time before it is lit(this is prob candles 101 but I was glad she told me about this) and was overall very pleasant. It helps too that they have their semi-annual sale going on right now. I’m just glad my home will smell like«island breeze,» allowing me to daydream about the beach when it is 5 degrees in NYC right now.
