Description

Specialties

Our practice takes pride in providing same day ‘patient –centered’ care in a managed care environment. We try to be very cost-sensitive.

We can see urgent care situations, as well as general physicals, chronic care issues, orthopedic evaluations, We also offer subspecialty digestive disease consultations, including in-office colonoscopies and endoscopies in a JAHCO certified endoscopy suite, associated with a very senior anesthesiologist.

All of our physicians are board-certified, caring, and responsive.

We are unveiing a new website in May, along with an iPad/iPad app.

We try to practice an ‘old-style’ type of medicine, using the newest approaches.

In our office, its ‘you and us’ versus the problem.

History

Established in 1986.

Drs. Yaffe and Ruden have been partners in this practice for over 25 years. We have been very proud of our attemptt to preovide personal care in an ever more difficult managed care environment. Our original small office on E. 84th St has been in continuous function since 1986, and our main E. 65th St. office has been going strong since 1999. We took additional space in 2010 and leased space to several subspecialists, including Lenox Hill Radiolology. We have 12 excellent physicians and 9 excellent Pa’s, as well as a great support staff.
