History
Established in 2008.
It all began in Beijing during the 1960s. When his formal education cut in short 15 because of the Culture Revolution, Wo turned to mastering the art of tailoring.
Wo began to work at a clothing company on Wangfujing Avenue, which was one of the few business districts at the time, and also became apprentice to two master tailors. In his free time, Wo would peruse the aisles of Shou Du Library, where he would spend hours studying fine Japanese design, fasion books, and crafting skills.
After years of study and practice, he became a skilled top tailor in his 30s, and eventually was promoted to executive manager at a clothing manufatory. By the mid 1980s, Wo and a Hong Kong joint venture partner had established a high quality line of suits in Beijing.
Finally in 2000, in searching of better living condition, Wo and his family moved to New York where he open Wo’s Custom Tailoring.
