World TeamTennis (WTT) runs professional and recreational tennis leagues. It is a leading tennis organization that showcases one of the most unique formats in sports. The WTT Pro League, co-​founded by Billie Jean King, features the biggest names in the world playing in an innovative co-​ed team format. The season culminates with the WTT Championship Weekend at the end of July, where teams battle for the coveted King Trophy. In addition to the Pro League, the WTT Recreational League operates leagues and events that are played using the co-​ed WTT format. For more information, visit www​.WTT​.com

History

Established in 1974.

Billie Jean King co-​founded the league in 1974. 2010 marks the 35^th season of the pro-​league.

Meet the Manager

Isaac L.

Manager

Isaac Leamer joined WTT in April 2009. He is based out of the New York office and manages the strategic growth and maintenance of WTT’s online presence, including WTT​.com and its affiliated social networking sites. Isaac also manages IT systems and serves as a technology liaison for the League and teams. He comes to WTT having worked in philanthropy at Public Interest Projects where he supported the day to day operations of several funds and was responsible for establishing and maintaining a web presence. Prior to that, Isaac was a Teach for America corps member and taught eighth grade English to students from the New Orleans’ 9^th Ward. He graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Foreign Affairs with a Middle Eastern concentration and a B.S. in Psychology.
