Not a bad place to have a business lunch. A little over priced but I guess for Kosher and Halal only diners we have little or no choice when it comes to Steak Houses The steaks are always very delicious and filling. I suggest you make a reservation for Lunch because the wait can be long.

Safff City and Dont confuse with W & L Manhattan –Ordered: Texas Chicken Tenders(ordered but they ran out) Braised Lamb riblets, NG(tasted like they were cooked for a week) Market Salad, NG(Salad was nothing special) Lentil Soup De Jour, Good(a little too watery for my liking) Sweet potato fries, Good Slow braised Veal, NG(too slimy and inedible; recommended by waitress over the cowboy rib eye W & L Ribeye Burger, Pretty Bangin(Replaced after we kindly sent back the veal; mashed potatoes were Good as well) — Was on a date and felt a little embarrassed — Service was fair to poor — And btw They charged me 2 dollars more to have my tequila on the rocks, I thought that was odd

Very over priced but the food is decent. Service is slow like any other kosher restaurants but that’s expected. If you need a good local steak restaurant with a nice dinning atmosphere then it’s a pass.

Good overrated place to have dinner. I do there sometimes, however, won’t highly recommend it to my friends. Good food, missing out on value.

The food here was amazing but the service was definitely not. My friends and I loved our steaks. We got the reserve cut, filet mignon and hangar steaks. All of our steaks came with what looked like a salad but the waiter claimed it was a garnish, except for one of us who didn’t get their garnish. When we asked for the side salad the Waiter said he would need to charge extra so my friend can have some garnish. I asked for another sauce and again they said they would need to charge extra but in the end they didn’t. My friend asked to have a dish to go and the waiter forgot to make it! When we reminded him about him he claimed the kitchen had closed. After we complained to tHe manager he did his magic and somehow they made the dish. It was nice of them though that they didn’t charge us for that. But when you go out to an expensive restura you expect better service and not aggravation. I hope they improve their service.

I’m very disappointed with the service and the attitude turned us off completely. we had a reservation for table of 9 person that we schedule for my friend B-Day, we are standing out side and the host come to let us know that we need to finish the dinner at exactly 8pm which is just a hour to eat and drink. I don’t think anyone would appreciate to be pushed out of a restaurant during dinner. I am shocked and disgusted. MYMONEYTHEYWILLNEVERGOINGTHESEE. ORMYFRIENDS.(0 stars)

All I have to say is KOSHERBACON!!! You must order an extra side of bacon when you go here. They slice beef razor thin and double fry it to give it the flavor of bacon. It’s the closest to real bacon I’ve ever had. HEAVEN!!! I’ve been here a few times with friends and I must say the place is phenomenal. It is expensive but it’s amazing. The food is top notch but I would skip the fried pickles and the tacos. The fried pickes were spears and I prefer my fried pickles to be chips. The tacos had pulled beef which was soggy so it was gross. The steak is delicious and the desserts are amazing. Shout out to our waiter«G» the man is amazing, honest and we love him. G if you are reading this, we are the table that likes to have our steak taste like«animal». It’s a private joke. He’ll get it. WIsh we could afford to eat here several times a week! Top notch.

Excellent service! The waiters are fantastic at recommendations! Steaks came exactly as specified and were super delicious! Sides of mashed potatoes, julienne vegetables, and beer battered onion rings were excellent! Love the atmosphere, service and most of all– the FOOD! Worth every penny!(Especially for a kosher restaurant). Can’t wait to return!

The cod special was out of this world. The trifle desert was amazing. The creamed carrot soup was awesome. The house red was the best I’ve ever had. We have a new«best in class» restaurant!

Great food and great service. Better then prime grill in service and taste. You must try the Cream Brulé The only complaint is that they were out of some desserts, my party showed up before closing though.

I’m very surprised to see the rating this restaurant got. My time spent there was very pleasant. The waitstaff is very friendly and quick. The restaurant itself is very romantic and dark perfect for intimate dinners whether with family or a loved one. The Food was overall good. I got the tuna tar tar and mini burger sliders which I enjoyed — Every last bite. Depending on which steak you order some are hit or miss.

Waiter was nice and polite, it was 12/29/2012,no heat in the restaurant, manager offer us to hold the candles that were on the table or to walk around to warm up. the food order was mixed up and served cold and dry. I will never go there again.

Great place. I loved the steak. Usually I do not go to kosher steak houses, but this one was by far the best I had. Keep it up guys. Presentation is great as well…

I want to give them 5 stars but the service it’s there. I asked for crispy bread and they said no… they can’t toast bread? They had a special that included baked potatoes with pastrami with an entrée, I wanted to pay extra for my entrée to include the baked potatoes. … they said no! Where is the owner… ?? I spent a lot of money.. the meal costs over 100 per couple. … feed me what I want…

I was there one night with some friends and we where seated upstairs on the second level and had a very nice time. Waiters where quick and most helpful, the food was also very nice and tasty. I ate for appetizer the fried pickles which I think is very tasty and interesting and is worth a try if you like tasting and experiencing different food.

Food bad, steak was very chewy, service horrible, waiters are a bunch of armatures. Very expensive and not worth it. This place sucks. I blame management.

After hearing great word of mouth reviews on this place at their Manhattan location, but seeing all the negative reviews at the Brooklyn location, I felt I just had to see for myself. This review is not a judgement on the reviewer who wasnt seated presumeably because of her low neckline. Which is actually one of the reasons I hesitated coming here. I thought that was either extremly disgusting behavior or a gross misunderstanding. Either way, it should not happen anywhere. If it wasnt a misunderstanding, then I think they should get rid of whomever it was that turned you away. That being said, I came here last night with my wife, and we were greeted very nicely last night. The place has an Ethan Allen modern look and an interesting floor. The floor is made of pennies. thousands of them, covered with a shelac or sorts. When we arrived, the place only had a few tables seated. So rather empty. There are two levels. After we were seated we noticed everyone asked to be seated upstairs. I suppose that was the prime seating and were a little surprised and trivialy annoyed that they didnt offer us to sit upstairs being that the place was practically empty. The waitress greeted us very warmly and offered up the daily specials. When we ordered, my wife asked if one of the sides could be swapped out, and without hesitation, she did. The food came rather promptly. We ordered for the appetizers, the tuna tar tar and the Sesame Rumaki. It was really good and very nice presentation. My main meal was the Hangar steak ordered medium. It came out perfect. very soft meat. with a what seemed like a wine sauce. My wife got the veal special and stated it was fantastic. The only quips I had with the service was that the waitress never came to see how we were doing and if everything is OK, nor did the busboy come to refill our glasses with water. The waitress only came after the busboy had wrapped my leftovers with food to go. Overall I really enjoyed the food and service. They staff was warm and pleasant and the food was very good.

I tried to go there this past week with a friend of mine who is not Orthodox Jewish(it’s a kosher restaurant). She was wearing a low-cut shirt. She got to the restaurant first and was told that there were no tables available. Then I went in to the restaurant dressed«appropriately» and the maître d’ was ready to seat me until he saw my friend with me and said, «Oh, you’re together?» Then the maître d’ refused to seat us claiming we did not have a reservation. I pointed out to him that there was an empty table on the main floor and an entire second floor available. He claimed that he had a bunch of two-person parties coming in «soon» and that he couldnt risk having them wait while we finished eating. I said we are only here for dessert and coffee. He said it didnt matter and made us leave. I wouldnt give this place a dime! It’s clear they are engaging in discriminatory practices and profiling. If you dont look like a religious Jew and arent dressed like one, dont bother going to Wolf and Lamb!
