Holy crap, these guys are AWFUL. I went in looking to upgrade to an iPhone 6 Plus and wanted to know what plans they had to go with that. The very bored looking guy could barely bother to tell me anything and only sputtered out stuff out megabytes and gigabytes which I had no clue about, so I tried to give him more of a sense of what I was looking for a similar price to what I’m already paying which is $ 45 a month with another carrier, all inclusive. He rolled his eyes and said ‘You should just stay where you are.’ I was pretty sure I had seen comparable plans advertised from AT&T on TV so I said, ‘Are you sure? You have nothing in that price range’ and he waved his hand at me to leave the store, saying ‘We are not that desperate.’ Stunned, I said, ‘Well, nice attitude. Very helpful. No wonder I dropped AT&T a few years ago.’ At that point another guy came over and got right in my face and began pushing against me, telling me to get out of the store. When I tried to take his picture because I literally thought he was going to hit me, he began screaming that it was illegal for me to take his picture (um, no it’s not) and then called me a racist. SCARY people!!! I plan to report them to AT&T but somehow I doubt they will care. They definitely did not win back my business.

Just switched to att and bought a new phone from these guys. I was using a prepaid virgin mobile and postponing changing companies because every shop I asked told me that I can’t stay with my old number. I asked in quite a few places and different companies and always got the same answer until I walked into this place. These guys said that’s it’s not a problem! they called virgin mobile and released my number. They were extremely nice and helpful with everything and the service was the best I ever had from any of these places ever! I came to this small att shop after waiting in line at the big att one on 34^th St. and finding out that a few minute line is what they call a half hour wait. I’m really happy I didn’t wait in line and tried this place instead.

Worst store ever. I agree with some of the reviewers that they are doing something sktechy here. I placed an order and they had no tracking for me, no confirmation of the order, etc. When I go on AT&
, there is no record of my order. When I call, they usually do not understand what I am saying until I say it for the 5^th time. Something is wrong here. I am calling AT&T directly to report them, but also to get a refund. I have never experienced such terrible customer service.

These people are crooks and liars. They pretend to be an AT&T store, yet they charge you fake prices. They charged me $ 30 more than a real AT&T store, when I asked them if they were a real store they laughed in my face and said of course, I then asked if it would be the same price everywhere else and they said yes. When I went to top up my phone later that day at a real AT&T, because they only take cash and I didn’t have enough on me, I realized I had been swindled. The real AT&T store pulled up my phone info, and told me they never even acknowledged the transaction and the amount I paid on the account like they should’ve. The store also didn’t give me a receipt at the time of purchase, which I realized later, and when I went back the following day they wouldn’t give me a receipt, yelled at me and told me to get out the store. There is a real AT&T store literally a few blocks away with great customer service representatives who sympathized my situation and credited me back. My advice: DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE AND GIVE THESE THIEVES YOUR MONEY! WALK TO AT&T on 6^th ITS WORTH IT.

The owner had performed a violent gesture towards me behind my back. I wanted to inquire about service for my business and saw the water fountain as an opportunity to refill my water bottle (achieving multiple goals). A person approach without an AT&T uniform or name badge present making facial gestures. After a few words I went to leave the store when I acted if he was going to kick me in front of his children/​co-​workers/​employees. That is lowest act ever performed by someone that comes from a culture that has be discriminated against in the state of New York.

In 2000, upon my return from living abroad, I took an apt. on the corner of 7^th Ave. & 16^th St. in Chelsea. I was on my way to meet friends for brunch one Sunday, when I discovered Wireless Lab, and Andrew out front on one of his daily cigarette breaks. He was very humorous, charming, and friendly! Needless to say, he sold me my first cellphone that day and has been my official cellphone doctor and supplier ever since.
Andrew goes above and beyond the call of duty, and I’m forever indebted to him and his team, Mark & Yoonji for their unlimited generosity. Whenever I have a question or cellphone dilemma, which is quite often, I know that I can stop by Wireless Lab 247 8^th Ave.
In their 13 years of service I have never had a bad experience. My cellphone is my lifeline to the Universe, meaning before getting my mini iPad, I did everything on my cellphone and sometimes uploading my new cellphone would take so long that I would go next door to Starbucks for a round of customized coffees for the Wireless Lab team.

I checked into this ‘authorized retail store’ today to purchase a phone charger for my Nokia E71x. This phone is not widely used so finding a charger was difficult. Since I could not wait for one to be ordered online (at a price of $ 8.99), I had to purchase one here (at a price of $ 24.99). Large markups aside, when I entered the business I was ignored in place of all 3 employees having a conversation about weight lifting with another customer (?) I found my own product and placed it on the register. The patrons (?) and employees were blocking the signage that would have stopped me from making said purchase. The sign read «no returns of accessories or chargers». Pretty important sign, don’t you think?
Since I was not made aware of this at the time of purchase, nor was this indicated on the receipt, I went through with this. I went back to work and tried to charge my phone and realized that my phone was broken, not my charger. Since I no longer needed this product, I went back after work and tried to return it.
This is the part where the staff showed me their sign, which blocked my attempt to get my money back for a product I did not need. I explained that this was not made clear to me and that the sign was not visible and the staff decided to keep reiterating their hidden policy. I told them that I understand that people buy chargers, charge their phone and return them as well as the need for their policy, but this was not the case for me. They budged a little and offered me store credit. I was insulted by this offer and their lack of professionalism, so I walked out. I clearly will not be returning.

SOLD ME A USED PHONE WITH SOMEONE ELSE’S PERSONAL INFO ON IT!
I should have known, this ghetto storefront was a dump and when they sold me a «new» phone, assured me that they would set it up and transfer my calendar, then I got home and called to say the calendar had not transferred and there was someone else’s Facebook app on my phone-​that I could get into and read their messages.
Amanda at Wireless Lab got nasty and told me she was doing me a favor by transferring the data and she didn’t know why the other person’s personal information was showing up.
I called ATT Wireless’s 800 number, they explained that this meant I had someone else’s phone. What a great way to have your identity compromised (fortunately I am honest and haven’t read anything). The 800 number gave me a credit on my account and told me to bring the phone back for a refund.
AVOID AVOID AVOID-​they are sneaky and dishonest.
