Wine in November

Wine in November is a great place to shop for wine. I have gone in there with my menu, and the staff has been unbelievably helpful in recommending wines. Let me clarify: they don’t go to one wine and hand it to you, as is done in so many stores. They pick out two or three selections and actually EXPLAIN why they work and how they will work with your food. You can then make the decision on your preference of what flavors you want highlighted. This knowledge of the nuances of how food and wine combine, can allow for some non-​traditional pairings, which is always fun. No rhetorical suggestions here! Listen to their descriptions, and you know they’ve tasted the wines and know their product. Customer service is excellent and the store is beautiful.
