Jason is the BEST! Very knowledgeable, great at what he does and never tells you something that he cannot deliver. Have went for both my twins contacts & frames/​lenses and never had a problem. I never realized that I had actually never had a full eye exam in my life. The process went really smoothly and the optometrist was extremely nice. They even stayed open late to help me learn how to put in contacts. I really appreciated how nice they were and how much time they spent with me. Would definitely recommend!

In my search for the perfect frames for my prescription lenses I popped into Windsor while in the area. The attendant was friendly and even helpful as I tried on frames looking for just the right shape and fit. We confirmed that my insurance was accepted and I looked at a variety of frames and prices. The attendant pulled 2 pairs frames from a drawer that were not on display and they happened to be just the right shape! I asked who the designer was and how much — he said it was small designer they work with and the frames would cost $ 259. Since taking photos is not allowed in the store — i decided to come back with a friend for a second opinion. So glad I did — I saw the same two pair of glasses being sold by a sweet elderly Asian lady on Prince Street in SoHo for $ 10!!!
Really Windsor? How do you justify such an insane mark up and trying to pass cheap, poorly made frames on your customers? That’s just disrespectful. Officially on the black list… smh

My toddler needed glasses and has a high prescription. It’s really hard to find glasses that will fit a young child and one that the child likes to wear. But we just happened to stop by when in NYC. Since kids’ glasses are so expensive, we needed one that would stand the test of a 2 year old. They were really helpful in finding a pair that would do the job. We always get compliments on his glasses and people always ask where we got them. Thank you Windsor!

I wrote a really bad review of a Lenscrafters recently, so it’s possible that my opinion is skewed based on that experience — but Windsor Optical was great. They were straightforward — I went in with preexisting frames, they quoted me a price for my lenses, they told me it would be a week, and a week later I got my sunglasses back exactly as they had been described to me. I accidentally left my prescription behind when I went to pick up my sunglasses, and returned a week later. The guy behind the counter had it waiting for me, I didn’t even have to remind him of who I was. Highly recommend this place for fast, efficient service.

Windsor Optical truly offered me topnotch service. I’m a tough customer who shopped around a lot before committing to them for my new high-​index glasses. I can honestly say that they had the best selection of frames, and at very competitive prices. The owner was patient with me and explained the variety of lenses and frames that would work best with my prescription. I love my new Prada frames and get tons of compliments on them. And most importantly, they did a perfect job on the lens. This was a great experience.
