Willow is now CLOSED for good. Gail retired. I livei in CA and it was always my first stop to NYC… now I am lost…

I wish I had discovered this place earlier. Interesting clothing that you don’t see everywhere. I stopped in hoping to find something for an upcoming event to go with a skirt I already had and was shown a range of lovely items within my budget. I also appreciate the salesperson’s honesty as to what looked good on me — not just trying to get me out the door with the most expensive item in hand. It was like having a personal shopper and made my day. Update: Stopped in again today and to my dismay they are closing! NO! I just discovered you! Seems the owner is retiring after almost 30 years in business. I am happy for her but sad for me.

Nice clothes for older women like me. However, the owner is horrible. She must be a very unhappy woman. She can barely answer a question. Will stop spending my money there. I suggest you do, too.

Interesting things of the larger flow-y natures but the RUDEST saleswoman I have ever encountered. I’ve never been YELLEDAT by a salesperson, especially in response to the question, «Do you have this in a large?» If you are looking for this sort of thing, I would try Liberty at 112th and Broadway up near Columbia where the staff is always helpful.

Window displays show lovely clothing and jewelry, aimed at large women, but possible good for all.
