We almost walked right by this place. A loud Beastie Boys song on the jukebox brought me in. Glad I did because this place was a blast! Chris the bartender was awesome! Maybe 6 – 7 ppl in there around 5pm, nice divey feel but no creepers or lurkers. PBR bottles are a plus. We had a great time, definitely be back.

Standard bar to hang out at. I kind of enjoy this place on a Friday or Saturday night because the wild crowds tend to steer clear of this joint — making it good if you want some valid conversation with your friends before going out around the neighborhood. Prices are city-standard, their selection is all over the board, and their bartenders are gruff but social. Nice amount of seating and the place extends pretty far back. You’ve got pool tables to loiter at, as well.

Definite hookuo spot or end of date spot for a couple to go. Spotted three couples making out. Two at the bar and one in the back. Lounge chairs and all. There was a pool table and great bartenders for making good drinks and attending quickly. All in all worth going to for casual drink, but even before midnight on Saturday it seems like hookup spot, assuming you have the hookup lined up! There were definitely groups of people just having drinks too. To be clear the couples«enjoying» themselves was not distracting :)!

WOWWHAT A BAR! They have everything, cats on skateboards, a thermos full of lukewarm coffee, 4 different flavors of stoli, and an old timey cash register. Will be back.

Best dive in the area. Bartender Justin is super friendly, recommended some great food in the area. His body is to DIE for(not to be weird) and he sort of looks like an 80s rom com villain(in a good way;) I heard he’s been on TV. Wish I could see him with his shirt off. if you can’t tell, have a little crush on him! :p will definitely be back! Update: I saw him with no shirt and total Dad bod. Think Leonardo dicaprio last year not Leonardo dicaprio Titanic. I’d still be your Kate Winslet. I wanna fly on the front of the ship with you!

Literally the rudest staff I’ve encountered anywhere. Check your bank statements and itemized receipts at the bar, they will steal your money.

Was here a number of years ago and recently found my letters to American Express disputing fraudulent charges by the bartenders and/or management at this place. I had a tab of $ 100 and left a $ 20 cash tip. I didn’t bother to x-out the tip line on the credit card slip and signed the slip. A few days later I noticed my card was charged $ 130. They had decided to fill in their own tip on top of my cash tip. Sad indeed. Guess what happened when I called to try and straighten out the situation? They hung up on me. Again and again and again. Poor way to conduct business, gentlemen. There are hundreds of other places to spend your hard earned money. Don’t do it here. They don’t deserve it.

Bartender was nice, everything was adequate. And even though she was pleasant to me, she was so caught up in her current customers that for all I know, she things she gave me two shots. If not a mistake, since when do dive bars charge so much for a shot of Jameson? $ 4 for a PBR. $ 11 for a shot? I may as well go to a legitimate joint that I know well. I’m done here.

The bartenders sucked here. The one blond wannabe bartender was an absolute witch, with a bad attitude. She actually yelled at our group because we didn’t know how to order drinks. If she would stop looking at her cell phone every 2 seconds and actually pay attention to us, then she might be able to memorize the order. They need to get rid of her or she needs to find another job.

Great atmosphere in good location. Semi cold Drafts beers @ $ 7/each. Comfy seating in back. Laid back vibe.

Just popped in there with a friend from out of town. The bartender threw a drink at a customer and threatened to fight him, ‘let’s take this outside’ challenging the customer while talking about his mother in a teenage rage. After they got back inside this short bouncer started aggressively getting in the middle of the man cashing out. Next was my turn, I gently spoke to the bouncer about how this guy was just questioning that he was poured the wrong drink. The bouncer then screamed at me and proceeded to take my drink out of my hand and throw it. Forced me to pay for a wasted drink. This whole place is managed and staffed by violent adolescent drunks. I called the police to report and will be following up with the city. Seen a lot in this city but never a customer engaging circus like this. The only female employee there seemed like she was used to managing the kind of choas this staff brings on itself.

Nice bar that’s pretty popular on weekend nights. I ordered a bay breeze, which was good but pretty weak in terms of alcoholic content. I dont know if it was their intention but they made it pretty girly looking. The cocktails are ok.

Just went in for a drink with a friend. The music wasn’t too loud(jukebox) so we were able to have our conversation. The décor was very inviting and warm. I like that they have the pool table as an option for some entertainment. All in all, just a good simple bar.

c’mon, for what this place is, it’s great! Pool tables, great bartenders, couches, long bar, great jukebox… but no food. Feel free to order in though. Best nights to go are Tuesday and Friday. The bartender on the right side(facing the bar) is a total sweetheart. Friday nights are bananas after 10, as some of the leagues let out, and Tuesday nights are relatively quiet.

Just about the most authentic /open to all bar in Chelsea. High tables for groups, bar stools for locals, a pool table in the back, and couches /semi lounge areas in back for more groups. And good bartenders. Always a diverse crowd(lots of NY Co-ed and Zog teams after games mixed with locals) but always a place to stand or sit. They serve beer, it’s cold, and can make mixed drinks and shots. This is my «let’s get a drink locally» joint.

+1 for pool table +1 for couches in the back +1 for cute Irish bartender girl who said she would kick us out if we «paint her bathroom flowery with vomit» –1 for creepy lookin’ dudes who look like they’ve been here since 10am Overall, this place is textbook divey. Lots of cheap drinks. Great for an afterwork happy hour. Drinks are definitely stiff, an the bartender never hesitated to serve us round after round after round. I like the way its set up. Very traditional wooden bar, with some lounge seats and pool table in the back. Also a fully functional jukebox with top40 makes for some fun, drunken, ambient noise.

We wandered in here intending to go to the Highline afterwards for a walk. What we expected to be a quick drink or two turned into a few drinks followed by multiple games of billiards(my record 2 – 1). If you’re in the mood to rack ‘em up and knock a few into the corner pocket, it’s $ 2 a game. There’s a fan on in the back so be ready for a chilly game. There’s nothing that really stands out about this place. It was a Friday evening but there weren’t too many people. Most people looked like they stopped by to enjoy a few beers and watch Sportscenter.
