History
Established in 2006.
Opened in 2006, Westside Family Medicine sought to fill a perceived need in the community for comprehensive family medical care. Our goal was to be a medical home to New Yorkers of all walks of life, from newborns and up. Frustrated by other medical experiences where you would have to wait hours for your appointment or days to see a doctor, we follow a modified «open access» model, where anyone can be seen that same day regardless of reason, and 20 minute appointment slots (compared to 10 minute slots elsewhere) with minimal overbooking. Originally located at 535 West 110th st, the office expanded to include our office at 315 West 70th st in 2009.
