VBH is an Italian Luxury accessories house with an innovative approach to the ever-​changing luxury market. It was founded and is headed by designer and businessman, Vernon Bruce Hoeksema, whose initials form the company name. Hoeksema grew up in both Europe and the United States and resides in Italy where prior to the conception of VBH, has spent twenty five years working for the international fashion label, Valentino.

The House’s core business includes a line of women’s luxury leather handbags and accessories, along with a collection of fine jewelry and decorative home objects. VBH’s corporate offices, retail showroom, creative studios and jewelry workshop are all located in Rome. All leather goods are produced at the company-​owned Atelier in Florence and the 10,000 Sq. Foot flagship store is located in New York City at 940 Madison Avenue. Over the years, VBH has become a major international accessories brand

Business Owner

VBH was founded and is led by designer Vernon Bruce Hoeksema whose initials form the company name. Throughout his life he has been privileged to travel to all corners of the world experiencing a vast array of people and cultures. He has also lived and studied in numerous cities around the world since early childhood including The Hague, Antwerp, Paris, London, New York, Milano and Rome where he worked with world-​renowned designer Valentino for more than sixteen years. In 1999 Hoeksema fulfilled his dream of creating a new type of luxury brand, VBH where he dedicates himself to realizing his unique vision of modern luxury products and lifestyle. In 2010 he took on the additional role of creative director of the historic London luxury brand, Asprey.
