love this place… but why no letter grade? that makes me alittle nervous bc all the food is prepared downstairs… next door to a subway station… hmmmm

I’m a fan :) They have healthy and filling breakfast options, as well as your usual bagels and croissants. The service is also quick and everyone is very sweet and helpful. The prices are also very reasonable, especially for the area.

The food is actually decent. I got Caesar salad and potato salad. Fresh and tasty. Will come back for lunch.

This place is a disaster. Super unorganized. Nobody knows where to order/who ordered what. Don’t bother. Culture Espresso Bar is a few blocks away.

Went to return something at Urban Outfitters and stumbled upon this healthy clean café. I must’ve went at the right time bc the food was so fresh, clean, and yummy! I had the fennel, cesar salad, beets and pears, cucumber, and avocado. Everything was extremely delicious(for $ 8). There was a girl who went outside to hand out samples of some kind of black rice, raisin, cashew sweet/spicy dish. On my way out she told me the ingredients and it tasted so good, I went back in to get $ 5 serving in a container. The service was pleasant and I will definitely be back. It’s hard to find healthy tasty food in the city that’s not overpriced!

Sometimes I like to browse UO during my lunch break for overpriced tees with retro graphics and books about a very specific, esoteric subject. Usually when I’m done I don’t feel like walking anywhere else, so I’ve stopped into UO Café a handful of times to grab some food before heading back to my ball and chain I mean my desk at work. I’d only ever tried their composed salads, all of which were very lackluster and some even strange to me. Some of the ingredients they put together just did not make any sense to my brain or my tastebuds. I’m not sure why I went back there today, since the previous few times all left me pretty disappointed. Maybe I just ordered correctly this time, but my sandwich and side salad were actually quite delicious. I had roast turkey, goat cheese, tomato and arugula on rustic cranberry bread, with a side of tuna/banana pepper/white bean/arugula salad, and both were very good. On this trip and previous ones, I found the servers to be very friendly and eager to help, if a little aggressive about getting you to try certain salads. I’ll most likely come back to UO Café when I’m itching to check out some twinkle lights for my reclaimed pallet bed(only one part of this sentence is true). I would recommend this place, but don’t be afraid to take a careful look at all the food before ordering and say no if you’re not feeling whatever they’re pushing that day.

WORSTSERVICEEVER!!! If you want to start your day with worst service, I highly recommend to go there and talk with those two workers! Her name is LIDIA!!! and her friend a tall guy with dark skin!(He never said his name) Those two workers are extremely rude! Even thought the manager gave me 20 $ gift card, I won’t go there again.

The staff here is fantastic. So helpful. The food and coffee are delicious too. From breakfast sandwiches, to salads and sandwiches at lunch, this place is a welcome addition is the typically touristy options in herald sq.

the only reason they even get one star is because the manager felt terrible and attempted to give me another gift card. they do not hold a candle to their predecessor Intellgentsia. I had two consecutive days of terrible service on top of the usual bad serivce. today i ordered 2 wraps, a veggie one and a bacon, egg, cheese. both wraps were cold, both had bacon and both were mostly wrap. yesterday, i waited 15 minutes only for them to tell me they forgot to put in my order. this place is a consumer’s nightmare – disorganized, no real flow, super-congested with crap, nothing is labeled so you never know what you’re getting. coffee is mediocre and the staff is clueless. just go to fresh and co.

So uo café is new and is coolly located in the urban outfitter flagship store in the city. Stop in for coffee food snacks or shopping; or both! The salads and sandwiches are awesome. After speaking to most of the workers(all were really nice) I found out they have chefs preparing everything so that’s great to know. The snacks are great — big shout out to love grace green juices and simplesense snacks! There is a variety and something there for all types of folks. The coffee is admittedly only ok and reasonably priced; BUT they did say they heard people’s opinions and are looking on improving their coffee. I’ll definitely be back — and so should you!

Composed Salad Bar 4 Stars: Yum! Options; barley w/broccoli, roasted brussel sprouts, tomato & mozzarella, etc. And if you annoyingly ask for«a little scoopful of everything»(like me) you end up only paying 8 bucks on a decent tasting platter. Coffee 2 Stars: Meh. A large cold brew is 2.70, a deal considering they offer almond milk freely along with many others, BUT — the taste is, as mentioned, meh. I can’t tell if it’s the type of coffee they use or may be the person making it? Also can’t tell how much any other espresso drink is cause they don’t list the prices. Snacks 3 Stars: Pricey but yum. If you have 20 bucks to blow on hipster snacks this is your spot ie: dark chocolate bark, truffle popcorn, & candy things. Service 3 Stars: Good! The actual service(as in someone spooning you salad) is friendly and fast, however when inquiring about latte prices I ended up with at least 3 different answers. Unless of course guessing is half the fun and maybe I just haven’t caught on yet? 3 Star Average: I’ll definitely be back for the salad bar on days when I need some variety in my lunch, but I’ll just skip on the coffee.

Really? This ‘café’ should not have taken the place of Intelligentsia. Worst business move ever. Horrible coffee and rude service.

Close your door down your horrible. Ordered 2 everything bagels and a latte. What I got was not what I ordered as you can see from the picture of the bagel. The barista who reminded of pig pen from Charlie Brown was trying to move fast but each cup was a mess multiple people looked sick as they took their cup of coffee. I took an extra cup to cover the mess up. Then I asked the manager for a new lid because the lids had dried up milk on them. She did not attempt to get a new stack of lids she picked out a semi clean lid from the stack of dried up milk lids. Shame on you managers lead by example, that was poorly done. Then I waited 15 minutes for 2 every thing bagels, while the staff was more concerned with the Brinks armored guard bagel order not to mention they skipped 3 people just to make sure his bagel was done before waiting customers. So I yelled I’m waiting for 10 minutes. Then the guys started making my bagel… WTF. Not sure who wrote these positive reviews this place is disorganized.

Finally, a place to get good coffee and food near my office! Its part of Urban Outfitters, which is cool, great music and atmosphere. The food is amazing and healthy with lots of variety. I had their composed salads, which I chose 6 different items and then it was weighed for the price at $ 8.99/lb. Mine was $ 11.00 and you cant beat that for all the things I was able to try. Coffee from Will & Co. which I hadn’t heard of, but its really something special. Will be back, probably everyday for breakfast or lunch!
