Business Owner

Edward Fruitman, MD is the Medical Director and founder of Trifecta Health Medical Center and Trifecta Med Spa.

Dr. Fruitman graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. He earned his Medical degree from Michigan State University, College of Human Medicine and went on to complete his four year residency training program at Albert Einstein/​Montefiore.

Dr. Fruitman received training in aesthetic medicine by the American Academy of Procedural Medicine and is expertly trained by Allergan to administer Botox® and Juvederm® procedures. Dr. Fruitman holds a Certificate of Excellence in Medicine from The American Academy of Procedural Medicine.

Dr. Fruitman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry.

I have acne scars and I’ve tried everything and anything to help me with them. Their staff was very nice and accommodating and gave me some advice on what to try, I had a hydrafacial by their technician Anita and my face was noticeable brighter the very next day! I decided to go back for their coolsculpting service as well and I was not disappointed! It worked so good on those areas the gym seems to never get rid of! Highly recommend them!

Went into Trifecta a few months ago for cool sculpting, and wanted to wait to write this review as results take a while to show. From the beginning when I called to book an appointment it was easy and simple to schedule a consultation. Once there I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome and an absolutely beautiful and well kept office. I had my consultation and decided to treat my abs and arms. Now, 3 months later and 2 follow ups after my results are phenomenal. Initially I was terrified because results are not immediate, but everything was explained to me in the consultation and I was assured to see results after 3 months, which I did. Trifecta Med Spa has one of the best informative and friendly staffs I will recommend them to everyone of my friends and family members. Can’t wait to try ultherapy for under the eyes!

Although the facilities are clean and the staff friendly, the laser treatments simply did not work. I bought a package of 6 full-​leg hair removal treatments and went in for an additional 4 treatments after. I am still shaving my legs every day. I did the same amount of treatments for my arms at another spa, and haven’t even so much as had to go in for a touch up in 2 years.

Truly, just a fantastic place.
The staff is welcoming and extremely helpful, one of the reasons why I chose this place over another place that cost less. You truly feel attended to and the staff is very accommodating. After going to a few other places for my cool sculpting consultation, one of which that had about 35 people in the waiting room and another that told me to come back in 3 months after I lost ten pounds and already paid $ 300 for an initial visit, I knew Trifecta was the place to be.
I was given a detailed explanation of everything happening and they even offered me a drink when I came in.
I have nothing but great things to say about this place.

Great results first time. Horrible second time. I think they injected water, not restylene. I expressed my dissatisfaction on phone, and was asked to come in, with the promise they would give a fair evaluation. Not! They just wanted to sell more services, with no interest in my very valid concerns. Buyer beware here. They don’t admit or correct their mistakes!

If you want your lips done… Go here.
I’ve never gotten lip injections before, but Trifecta made sure I was in properly numbed and comfortable for the procedure. They studied my lips properly beforehand to look at what needed correction, and then numbed me 3 different ways because I was super anxious about it. When I got the injections, I barely felt it and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Definitely coming back for more procedures! Everyone was super welcoming and friendly too.

The staff at Trifecta MedSpa are extremely helpful and accommodating. From the minute I called to schedule my consultation to the day I arrived, they were extremely attentive and responsive. I had to move my appointment back slightly, which went into their off hours yet they stayed so that I would not miss my time.
During my free consultation, I was told that I was not a suitable candidate for the treatment I was interested in. I REALLY appreciated their honesty — any other place could have easily told me the contrary and would have taken my money.
During my visit, I got a Hydra Facial instead and it was exactly what I needed. Ting, my Aesthetician, walked me through exactly what she was doing as she treated me. I have sensitive skin, but my face had very minimal redness immediately following the treatment, which I was not expecting but was very pleasantly surprised!
She gave me great skin care tips after and I will definitely be returning when I’m due for another skincare treatment.
P. S. If you intend to pay via credit card, bring cash for tipping. Quite modest not include a «tip» option on the receipt — but very deserving!

Ok, so I’m a fan.
I have to say, it is a pleasure to write about this med spa.
My comments today are about Joelle, and her impeccable work.
I love coming in for treatment with Joelle, because she is so nurturing and caring.
You feel taken care of.
I believe that goes a long long way in why I keep coming back.
She recommended the micro needling treatment for some of the concerns I had, and I have to say, after 3 sessions, I can really see an improvement in the quality of my skin.
Then there’s Dr. Valentina. She is incredibly knowledgable when it comes to fillers and how to use them to enhance your face. It’s an art form for her!
She’s the BEST of the BEST.
What more is there to say?
Can’t wait for my next appointment!

UPDATE!
The manager called me to ask that I come back in. I went and they offered to give me a full refund or put more to fix it — up to me. I asked that they fix and saw Dr. Cuerari (not sure if I spelled her name right). She was amazing. i It’s been a little more than a week since my follow up visit. I’m really impressed of their proactivity and making sure their patients are satisfied. Really, thanks so much Zeefah and team!
I went in for botox about 10 days ago. The staff are very friendly and were kind the whole time.
Dr. K saw me. I told him exactly what I wanted — a brow lift, because one of my eyebrows is lower than the other. I told him that I’ve had this done many other times before and have been getting botox for over 2 years now.
I still let him do the 20 units on my forehead, although I was a little weary of his qualifications.
My eyebrow is now significantly even lower! At least before it was minimal — now my one eyelid is drooping! I will definitely be calling for a full refund.

Hi everybody who is following my review and progress. So I would like to update you all: I am in my third week of cool sculpture now and really started to see difference. Itchy a bit, scratchy but it is completely tolerable, what I noticed is in fact that my waist circumference shrunk so far by 2 inches which is Awesome alone with my high hips shrinking by almost 3 inches, huh, to be precise 2 /​16/​17, I am super excited, I also feel that my under bra so called love handles somewhat shrunk, I can’t tell u how much but I see I see that bulge under bra dissapeared so I feel great hey after all I got results in 3 weeks and aim going back to get cool sculpture on my inner thights.

This place is really great! From the front desk staff to the technicians & doctor, the customer service is excellent. Aside from that, best Botox experience I’ve ever had (been getting it for about 7 years). I also tried the ultherapy and although I found it extremely painful, I was pleased with the results. Overall, highly recommend Trifecta — it’s the only place I’ll go for Botox from now on!

As I have been going to Trifecta for over a year now, I thought I should share my positive thoughts. I get it, we all write reviews when we’re pissed off, but I wholeheartedly disagree with some of the reviewers who mention the staff being rude.
I see Joelle for facials, peels, and laser hair removal. She is super duper nice and she actually knows what she’s doing. Truth be told, that alone would keep me coming back, but the real cherry topper for me is that she actually pays attention to what’s going on with my skin and can reflect back months and months ago. She never once made me feel pressure to over treat my skin, which I’m sure crosses all of our minds when we see celebrities in magazines walking around with half of their faces falling off. The fact is, many times, she’s flat out told me «no» to certain facial treatments as they might not be good for my skin, especially if it’s too close to the time of a last treatment.
Furthermore, the two receptionists are gems. Laureal, who is no longer there, was always amazing. And her replacement Zifa (I’m surely not spelling her name right, but will get the correct spelling next time I’m in) is equally awesome. Love them.

This review is for the financial district office. I got an internet deal for 6 laser treatments, and just finished my series. The office itself is sunny, clean and comfortable, and the décor is lovely. I had two techs over the 6 months, both of whom were pleasant and thorough. There’s a bit of pressure (like everywhere) to sign up for more treatments, but no one treated me any less well when I declined. I edid add on an ultherapy treatment earlier in the year, which did seem to give a subtle lift to my neck area. (The tech and I both forgot to review the before and after pix, so I can’t say for sure.)
Toward my last couple of visits however, a not so subtle tip envelope holder appeared at the reception desk. Call me crazy but I don’t think a medical treatment done by a trained professional should involve a tip. I’m not sure if this is a new policy, but shouldn’t the «medical» spa be paying the employees enough that they don’t require extra cash from clients? I’d have given it a 4 star rating and considered going back for different treatments, but frankly, the whole tip thing creeped me out.

Best lips ever.
I had Dr. Curreri fix my lips. As a former smoker and a person that has undergone over 10 intense dental surgeries my mouth needed help. I had used other Doctors but none created as beautiful a mouth as Dr. C.
She also worked on other areas of my face, which came out pretty, but the lips were the true test. I also had very minimal bruising that lasted about two days.
I want to comment on the customer service and pricing. This may not be for the budget minded. I had a communication/​pricing problem that caused me to panic. My procedure was late on a Friday which may have been the reason. We all know by Friday night, no one is really thinking so clearly.
I called and emailed the office on Saturday and to my surprise, I received an immediate response. We discussed my concerns and my suggestions and the problem was immediately resolved.
For this, I give 5 stars. For me, customer service is one of the most important issues when choosing where to go. I appreciate Victor going above and beyond my expectations.
There are a lot of med spa’s out there. Make sure you do all your research on products, costs and dosages.
Evidently, a woman in her late 49’s needs around 50 units of dysport (Botox doesn’t work for me) and it ends up costing a lot more than the advertised «20 unit» cost of $ 179-​$ 220. With that I say «buyer beware», and know that beauty does not come cheap ;)
