I was referred to Dr. Ta for braces by both my dentist and my oral surgeon. They both had great things to say about her. I’m extremely glad I listened and was not hesitant to make my first appointment with Dr. Ta. First off, making my first consultation appointment and then the numerous ongoing appointments is very easy. You can contact them via website, their email address, and of course, by phone. Dr. Ta is very warm, caring, and readily available via email even during her off hours. I greatly appreciate her attentiveness and care.
My first consultation consisted of taking a quick mold of my teeth, top and bottom. I decided with Dr. Ta to get the lingual braces (the one they line the metal on the back of your teeth). Bring any questions you may have with you; Dr. Ta is very knowledgable and will answer all questions you may have. My second appointment consisted of the cost options and payment options. Dr. Ta broke down the costs for me very clearly. For a person with very crooked teeth getting braces for the first time, I found the whole process to be quite easy, and painless (I guess that’s subjective). I see Dr. Ta every three weeks to get my braces tightened. I’m in and out of the office within 10 minutes!
May I also include that Dr. Ta and her entire staff, both in the TriBeCa and the UES offices, are very courteous and welcoming. They greet you with smiles and make you feel like you’re entering you’re second home rather than a cold, medical office!
