Description

Specialties

Yakitori, literally «grilled chicken», is a Japanese style skewered chicken. All the chicken used at Torishin is organic and of the very highest quality. Also vegetables are delivered directly from special farmers. We use Kishu «Binchotan» charcoal that releases large quantities of infrared rays. Infrared cooking makes meat crispy on the outside and tender and juicy inside. Although it is commonly thought that Binchotan burns hot, it actually burns at a lower temperature than ordinary

History

Established in 2007.

Since 2007 to 2015 we were located at the Upper East Side of Manhattan. And we moved to Midtown West in July 20 015. We are the only restaurant as a yakitori restaurant in the U.S. that received a star from Michelin for five consecutive years.
