I came to Toka for the first time last week. The staff was very friendly and attentive. John did a haircut for me, and he did a fabulous job. Ask for John if you ever go there. I love my new hairstyle, its exactly how i imagined. I will come back here!

Nuri is a master with very curly hair and colour. After frustrating experiences at many of the salons in the city who specialise in curls I found Nuri by chance. I have never received an uneven cut from him and the colour is fantastic. I highly recommend him. Bonus as well that he works on Sundays.

I will definitely come back!!! My highlights turned out amazing, I am so pleased with the color (never easy to get the right shade of blonde!). I was also impressed with my blow out, my hair is naturally straight and they sure knew what to do to give me some volume! I left the salon feeling great! I have been living in New York for three years and I was feeling I was never going to find a place where I would happy to return. Well, my search is over! Looks like the guy I like (Oguz) is not here all the time but I may venture to take the train to his other place (in Astoria), it’s well worth it!
