An absolute saving grace!!! Dr. Kristos is my hero! I got braces put on five days ago in CA where I live. Two days later, I flew home to NYC for the holidays, for a two week trip. Well, as warned, I lost two brackets and a power chain in the first day. Both in the same area, including the anchor for my wire. I was pretty much in shambles with wires poking, sliding about, and teeth moving in disarray. Manhattan Family Orthodontics got me in right away and I walked out in perfect working order again! In fact, he even replaced my silver wire for a white, more aesthetically pleasing one. He also instructed me to change my rubber band configuration, as I had progressed quickly and was ready for the next step. I now have an orthodontist on both coasts that I am completely thrilled with! HIGHLYHIGHLYHIGHLYRECOMMEND!

7 years after having my braces removed, I finally broke my retainer :(My orthodontist is in NJ where I grew up, but I now live and work in New York. I just started working at a new job, and was having problems finding an orthodontist who worked late in the evenings or on weekends. Luckily, Dr. Togias does both! I made an appointment on a Thursday, and was given an evening availability for the following Tuesday. The receptionist was extremely friendly, and Dr. Togias could not have been more helpful or courteous. He was chatty in a good way. Explaining how he would take my moulds, and asking about my dental history. Dr. Togias even glued my broken retainer together as a temporary fix. As his office is open every other Saturday, I was able to come in over the weekend to have my retainer fitted, and to make sure everything was okay. The appointment took 5 minutes, and I was out the door. Was a painless experience, and I would highly recommend Dr. Togias and his tea! Also, this place is conveniently located right next to the 59th St. N, Q, R 4,5,6 trains

I have spent a decent amount of my teenage years straightening my teeth to the point of perfection when I was still living in the Netherlands. The only ‘sounvenir’ I was left with was a retainer on the back side of my bottom teeth to keep the teeth from moving back out of their new, perfect place. One day, after eating corn on the cob, I managed to rip the entire retainer off with glue and all after flossing a bit too enthusiastically. Ai. What was I supposed to do now??? I called up my dentist, who refererred me to this orthodontist, Dr. Togias. I called the office and was able to get a same day appointment right after work. I walked in 15 minutes late, but was still received with a big smile at the reception. Dr. Togias himself was very friendly, knowledgeable, patient, accommodating and… Oh yes, that’s right: Easy on the eyes! ;) Oh and did I mention his own perfect smile yet??? He practices what he preaches, and it shows. Dr. Togias was ready to help me the moment I walked in. Waiting time: Zero minutes. Nice. Office looks clean, neat and well organized. To make a long story short: I walked out with a brand spanking new retainer that looked way better than my old one. All done painlessly in professional manner. I feel comfortable enough to state that I would refer any friend or family member straight to him, if they ever needed to be seen by a good orthodontist. :)
