When my 2 friends and I first got my nails done everything was all fine and good. One of my friends and I indicated earlier on that we didn’t not have cash and could only tip in card. When it came time to pay, they started being rude when I reiterated that I did not have cash. The manager started scolding my friend and I (after she let our 3^rd friend leave WITHOUT tipping at all because she had been there before) saying that it wasn’t fair and that we needed to tip in cash. We even offered going to the ATM right then and there or coming back and tipping the next day (we work in the area) and that only left to more scolding.
Want to know what the end result was? She let us tip on our cards!
The pedicure itself was fine but way overpriced especially for such rude and hostile service. I will never come here or recommend to my friends. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

I DO NOT understand the awful reviews over this place. Yes its quite expensive… Cost me $ 60 for a pedi but the ladies there are so genuine and nice and my pedicure looked amazing. I also got a foot massage and heel repair job so they up the price but overall i had a truly wonderful experience here. Its clean and relaxing. Recommend to my friends, it could be a little more inexpensive though!

i was a first customer on a very quiet saturday morning. there was nobody after me. it was rushed no cleaning no extra pampering in any way.
sixty one dollars plus tip… this is not a five star so why try to charge

Great pedicure and super relaxing environment. I’m picky about my pedicures and my therapist took her time and paid attention to detail.

Expensive mani pedi for the area and there was nothing special about it. The manicure started to chip a day later. Not worth it!

Double the price of any place in the area, half the service. Shit pedicure, scrub lasted half a second, and rude woman.
I’ll never come here again.

Way too pricey for the quality of care given. Had a gel manicure and a regular pedicure and it was $ 110. My fingernails are filed unevenly and the pedicure looks poorly done. The technician seemed distracted and almost annoyed that she had to work on me (despite the salon being empty). Disappointing experience. I will not return.

I have been here before and the experience this time makes it not worth the return. The place is clean. They rushed this time and you can see it. My manicure has cuticles they should have removed and usually do… I was there with a friend and my pedicure started after her and I was done before her… All around a rush and I had an appointment. Then it’s $ 61 for pedi/​mani… Not worth the price at all.

This space is very nice and is clean but the polishes are old and the bottles are grimy. I opted for a manicure and 20 min massage. Bad move. When I emerged from the face guard after my so-​so massage, I found my nails had been cut down to nothing and filed unevenly. Her painting was no better so I had her remove it. They insisted I pay the tip in cash and when I said I didn’t have enough on me they directed me to their ATM machine (at a fee). In retrospect I should have paid the bill with my card and walked out without paying the tip that neither of them earned. I would not recommend this place as there are so many better places in NYC. I will let my nails grow and go to one of those.

The space is clean, relaxing, and has a nice location in the SoHo neighborhood.
When it comes to the mani and pedi I had, it was mediocre. I had separate people paint my nails and give me a pedi, but they BOTH did not paint my entire nails. The edges were not painted in, leaving all nails more prone to having polish chip off — one nail chipped the 2^nd day :(.
Please teach all your employees how to properly paint nails!!! There are too many good salons nearby to do a mediocre job and expect people to come back, especially for the higher prices you’re asking for.

Reliable place. Comfortable, clean, quick service. Recommend the full pedicure with paraffin and massage. Also got a neck massage from the masseuse on staff and I was EXTREMELY surprised at how good it was. $ 10 for 10 minutes — I’ve had massages at top spas in the city so my standards are high, but this guy was fabulous. All around great reliable salon.

I don’t often get my nails done, but when I do I get gel because it lasts so long. I went here with a friend and overpaid at $ 52 for a manicure. After 3 days it began to chip off…3 days. Here is a pic of how my nails look after 7 days. I called and they said I should have come in sooner, but I was away which is why I got them done to begin with. She finally offered only 10% discount if I came back. With that discount it’s still more expensive then most other places that actually do a good job. Look elsewhere if you are looking for something that lasts.

Well fast forward to a now… Apparently the polish was put on too thick, the shellac came clean off, after 1 nail came right off I peeled off all of the polish on my left and and soaked the right off. I will not be back bc my shellac usually always lasts until I remove it. I will continue to see Cindy in Park Slope

Wow talk about way over priced 42 $ for a pedicure they must not be making any money don’t waste your time with this rip off.

Way too expensive, for the quality. I get a manicure every week and normally they last me all week. This nail salon is close to work, I’ve given it a few chances. My mani didn’t last all week, they didn’t paint the sides of my nails (which is a huge pet peeve) I went for a polish change and it was 12.50! I’ve gotten manicures for that price! Lots of inconsistencies, some girls r ok, some r terrible, they all seemed rushed to get u out of the chair. Sometimes they give u a shoulder massage sometimes they don’t. I think I gave it a fair shot, and will now be trying another place that is close to work.

And this may depend on the person you get BUT that was the saddest pedi I’ve ever had.
There used to be a time when a regular pedicure included a decent foot/​leg massage and callus «dealing with»
After I declined to upgrade pedi ¼ way in it was like I took her first born from her. Total attitude change.
The actual polish part was fine but the rest of the pedicure, which one really enjoys she ran thru the motions. My only other experience there was similar, but this was worse.
Would only go back if I had no other choices.

Very pleased with my manicure and pedicure. The place was very clean, plus you get a back massage while getting the manicure which was nice. The only reason I wouldn’t come back is because of how pricey it is — I luckily had a gift certificate but would never ordinarily pay $ 61 for a mani pedi.

So disappointed! Worst customer service and worst gel manicure I’ve ever had! Will not be going here again. Take your $ elsewhere. Very high prices for less than mediocre service.

I’ve never given 1 star to a nail salon, and I can’t believe I’m giving one to a place so clean. But this was easily the worst gel manicure and pedicure I have ever received in light of the price.
My mom and I came here for gel manicures and regular pedicures. The service itself was fine — nothing special, no extra touches like a foot or neck massages, but fine.
At the end of our service, the total came out to over $ 200. We should have looked at the prices first, but fine — our bad.
Within an hour, both of our pedicures had smudged, despite that they insisted we didn’t need to sit at the fans and they would just wrap our feet with oil and plastic wrap. Then, hours later at dinner, we both noticed our gel manicures starting to peel.
Sure enough, the next day, two of my nails were completely bare — the manicure had peeled off entirely. I went back and asked them to re-​do it, which they did. However, within 2 days, the manicure had peeled off all of my nails. The same thing happened to my mom.
I’m so disappointed that we spent so much money on something that lasted less time than a regular $ 10 manicure. I’ll never be going back.

Walked in on an early Thursday afternoon for manicure. Was seated immediately, manicure was quick and efficient. Looked great. I even opted for a 15 min shoulder massage ($ 15) while my nails dried. It was great. I would go back.

My hotel booked an upper body message. I walked all the way there. I had to Waite about 30 min. And the masseuse never showed up. Very rude they didn’t have to book me.

I go to Think Pink about once per week, and I usually get the lavender spa pedicure and a regular manicure. I usually go there to relax, and I always have an amazing time and get a good mani/​pedi. I’ve recently started getting massages in their spa downstairs, and if you have a bit of extra cash, go see Joon– best massage I’ve ever had, hands down. The salon is spacious and nicely decorated and never smells like polish or remover. They have a sign saying they use special products to maintain a clean air zone, maybe that’s why?
Only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is 1) it’s really pretty expensive for what it is and 2) sometimes my manis don’t last longer than a couple of days but that may be because of the no/​low fume products?
Overall I think it’s worth it though. Insider secret: I often see celebs there, maybe because of the SoHo location?

I went in for a gel manicure and was pleasantly surprised. My manicurist, Rachel, was thorough, professional and sweet. The space was very clean, and didn’t smell like solvents and polish, like many other places. I had an AMAZING massage from Charlie, which he did on a massage chair (swapped out from the regular chair) while I was getting my nails done — love the time-​saving!
I will be going back for sure.

Was visiting the city and needed a major mani & pedi. Was in SOHO for the day and wanted to get something done quick with my gf, since the Ducati store was closed.
We went to another location first but they turned us away. (Who Does That?)
So we found this place, thanks to Unilocal.
It was the cleanest and fanciest place I’ve been to, and I’m from LA!
I would say this location was quite big for what’s expected of a NY business. Even bigger than some restaurants I’ve been to.
The only thing I didn’t like was that they couldn’t service my mani and spa pedi at the same time. I hate wasting time and that’s what I felt like I was doing.
Oh and another thing I didn’t like, a pedi was $ 40!!!
I get it, square footage is expensive in NY and they gotta factor in the costs, but $ 40???
THAT’S JUST RIDICULOUS!
Either way, after I paid, I was happy with their service and my nails.
And that’s all that matters!

I know why people gave 5 starts to this salon.
Personally I felt it was a lot cleaner and fancier than ‘dashing diva’
All of people were so nice and welcoming.
I did my nail to Erika — who was pretty good. I would go back to her again.
Extra point to their green line– no chemical polish. They have amazing and intensive collection. One of the color that I choose came out fantastic — like mix between navy blue and green plus shimmer. basic nail is $ 19 plus tip. It is definitely worthy it.
Recommend to try this place if you are around SOHO.
Only reason that I can’t give 5 stars is due to my limited service and time that I had today. I only tried nail today. Once I try many other services, I expect they deserve 5 stars.
I heard they have spa and message salon down stairs — I may try next time!
