Came here before a UCB show. Perfect early Friday night place. Fast, friendly service. The bacon, egg and cheese on a bun was delicious, with generous amounts of crispy bacon. Our waitress Lee was hilarious, sweet, and perfect. Servers at other venues could stand to take a page out of her book.

Deliberately tacky and slightly unrefined, this is a great place to grab a quick bite. Interesting specialty cocktails. Limited food options but most stuff comes with tots so that is never a bad thing. My grilled chicken Philly sub with onions and green peppers was actually delicious. Tots were acceptable. Service was okay. The décor is fun and it’s got a lively ambience.

Went here because a friend recommended it, and it was in a convenient location. What a treat! The bartender was great, the theme is great, the prices are great, what more could you ask for! Unfortunately I don’t live in the city, but I will definitely be returning next time I’m in town!

I came here with a date(to kill time while waiting to see Rocky @ the Bowtie Theatre across the street). It was a great way to check out a new place and get acquainted with a possible paramour. Atmosphere: Definitely… interesting to say the least. Very kistchy, with loud tiki décor, retro memorabilia, old faded signs, bright vinyl chairs and alcoholic beverages served in plastic cups. They don’t pretend to be fancy at all. That said, the place is clean. Service: Friendly enough. Can’t complain or rave about it. Food: Classic Americana junkfood… which is extremely heavy. Date and I split the chili cheese bacon tots PLUS the macaroni and cheese. This was pure gastro-masochism on our parts. The tots, while crunchy, salty and oh-so-good were weighed down by so much cheese, bacon and chili that it pretty much sat in my stomach, like a rock… or rather a boulder… for the rest of the night. #iregretnothing Come for the food/drink, stay for the ambiance!

Chill place with hilarious interior. Slider platter is big enough to feed at least 4 people. Not too much seating is available. Great service.

It’s amazing that this exists on 23rd st. Come for the amazing 50’s and 60’s memorabilia alone! I love coming in during happy hour because the margaritas are only 5BUCKS! They make really good(STRONG) margaritas that will be sure to finish the job after 2 or 3. My favorite thing to do at this bar is just look around and see all the weird and pop culture posters/objects/portraits they have on the walls. I wouldn’t call this place a dive just because it looks dirty, the place is a ton of fun and the drinks are awesome. Truth be told, I love this place! Huge fan, but it can’t be 5 stars because at the end of the day the food isn’t that great and the service is a little bit slow.

What a great and fun find! Dive bars are tricky esp when you go for a theme. But the Trailer Park Lounge is an experience not to be missed — there is so much to look at. The drinks are amazing, esp if you like frozen drinks, and the food looked delicious(we did not eat there.) Made me crave tater tots. Nice to see a place bring back some fun and throwback relaxation to a neighborhood that is pretty upscale. Can’t wait to come back!

It sounded like a fun place to eat, so we came here for lunch midweek. The restaurant is small and dark with, of course, trailer park-esque décor from the 50s, 60s &70s. The food was overpriced and disappointing. It was edible, it was uninspired. There have to be better and more fun options nearby.

A trailer park lounge in NYC? Definitely not something you’ll find on each block… but it sure is worth your visit. This was highly recommended by Chip R. and Chris M, and we made our visit 2 weeks ago when in the city… and I’m so glad we did :) The place has everything you’d think of in a trailer park — but with class & no grime! The front is a garage door that can be opened with a seating nook(a bowling alley seats with a vintage ball return as the table!). Keeping the trailer theme classy, there’s a toilet out front to dispose of cigarette butts :) On the inside, there’s so many nostalgic & vintage decorations, some of them in good shape & others not so much– but most importantly, it’s all tied together & it WORKS! I loved the camper trailer on the wall, the mannequins(all named by the bartender), and SO much more to look at. It’s not junky, it’s truly a work of art! So, the frozen jalapeño margaritas were just fabulous… I mean, they were spicy & full of jalapeño flavor, and they were garnished with a few slices of jalapeño too. Best part? They’re only $ 5 during happy hour!!! They do have a great happy hour(PBR, well drinks, and margarita specials from 3 – 5, I think). My friends loved the blood orange margaritas too. Where else in the city can you get 2 – 3 drinks per person for less than $ 20 per person?! We didn’t indulge in any of the food but the menu looked good(though very fried & artery-clogging). in fact, my friends say the food is tasty but you pay for it the next day ;) I highly recommend this place bc it’s just not your typical bar in NYC… it’s truly an experience :)

Such an oxymoron of a place for NYC. Décor from the 80s full of retro trash and crazy tots

Trashy Hawaiian Trailer Park– one of the coolest vibes to a restaurant you’ll ever find. This place does it spot on– every decoration comes together for an unbeatable atmosphere. The food is great and keeps with the same style. Portion are huge and the food is unapologetically unhealthy. Drinks are great as well. The prices go against the trashy vibe, but the quality and experience is definitely worth it.

This was a spot I passed by a year or so ago with a friend, while bar hopping in the city. We vowed to come back, because the interior looked fab. I came back this summer with another friend, because we wanted to try something new, and I convinced her that this was a good idea. The interior is a mix of beach hut, Route 66, and tiki roadside, which was eclectic and warming. We sat down and looked at the drink menu, which unfortunately isn’t that large. We both got margaritas; I a spicy Jalapeño, and my friend a blood orange. The drinks were delicious, I love spicy drinks! Plus, they came with little decorations on the side that were absolutely adorable! I was disappointed in the price; $ 12 for a small margarita? I didn’t get a chance to try the food here, maybe it’s worth coming back for next time. Only time will tell.

This place should be a respite in the generic/pretentiousness of Chelsea. But it’s just still so expensive. Its décor is telling me it’s a dive but the food and drink prices are telling me something else. I was embarrassed to bring hungry people here because they knew right away that they’d have to spend $ 25+ for a beer and a burger($ 12 burger+ $ 6 beer + tax + tip). I wish I could recommend. I really do. It’s just too expensive for what it is.

Classy and refined this is not. But curiosity led me to The Trailer Park Lounge one Saturday evening and I discovered that kitsch could be done right. It’s impossible to miss; the entrance an intentional collage of cheap Americana signage, much of it neon lit, with an actual toilet offered as an ashtray. The inside, however, is even better. Las Vegas can step aside. Crammed wall to wall and ceiling to floor with more artificial tchotchkes and tasteless décor, with an emphasis on tiki, than you’ll be able to find, especially in the evening when it looks like Christmas lights are providing most of the illumination. It’s so tacky that it’s cool, and that isn’t easy to accomplish. And somehow, it seems to attract a heterogeneous yet friendly crowd, better than most places on a Saturday night. The bartender was efficient and bluntly friendly; quick on the draw to recite menu options and even quicker to put our beers in front of us. The beer selection is mainstream American, with some bottles eye-catchingly perched on ice in a bathtub behind the bar, graced with a bathing mannequin. Luckily, a Goose Island IPA was on tap too. Crowd-pleasing cocktails, including a variety of margaritas available frozen. It’s questionable if I’d ever return to try the food menu, which includes a stereotyped list of burgers, sandwiches, dogs, chilis, tater tots, nachos, and mac and cheese. But if they can keep at least one decent beer available, the décor itself is enough to warrant a visit.

During a Labor Day weekend Sunday funday, Chris M. and I came across the Trailer Park Lounge. I’ve heard about this place and intrigued by the outside busy façade of signage, we decided to give it a go. If you like a good dive bar, TPL is your place. The majority of my four star rating for TPL is on atmosphere and concept, and the execution. This place is a great hodgepodge of lights, old signage, retro artifacts and fun stuff that stay true to the trailer park type theme. It’s definitely one of the most interesting dive bars I’ve come across and most definitely one of the most interesting places in NYC to visit. There are even mannequin mascots spread around the bar itself and Sue, Endora, and Michael help give that trailer park feeling in their various«poses» and positions. The décor is anything but boring and makes for a fun venue to have drinks and a few snacks. Lots of fun menu items to choose from, including the blood orange margarita pitcher we had as well as our snack called the«Slider Shindig.» This one comes with choice of two out of four slider types for a total of 8 sliders, nachos, tater tots and sweet potato fries that costs $ 39. When it is served up, it is on a multitiered monster truck tower tray that is pretty groovy. The food itself, well, it is what you would expect for a Trailer Park Lounge… not bad actually but not the pinnacle of fine dining for sure. Our service was good, our bartender was friendly and social while staying on top of the drinks/eats. It’s a very enjoyable stop if you are able to hang out to soak in all that is Trailer Park Lounge. Bottom line: Trailer Park Lounge pulls off the theme atmosphere and concept and then some. What a fun place to have a drink and some snacks! The retro artifacts, signage, ads, mannequins, and old equipment make it worth a stop. Drinks are pretty good, and food is what you would expect for a trailer park theme dive bar. I am definitely a fan of TPL!

Pretty interesting spot!!! I came here with a bunch of friends and we sat a table. We ordered the usual margaritas at this spot. The décor is everything. Neon signs, christmas lights, license plates, etc. Very funky décor. Very cool though. We decided to order an app, nachos. It was good but have had better. The margaritas were good, a lil sweet for my liking. We had a nice time chatting it up. I had fun. Maybe I’ll swing by Trailer Park. We shall see.

A friend and I stopped in here lunch to celebrate my birthday. We decided to split the«slider shindig» which comes with 8 sliders, nachos, tots, and sweet potato fries for $ 39. Granted this was proli too much food for just the two of but we figured what the hell. The food came out on an amazingly fun monster truck tower. The food was okay — wasn’t great wasn’t bad. I ordered the dog and pony and show to drink — with a straw berry margarita. Essentially this is a frozen margarita with a coronita in it. It was fun. The bar itself is decorated great and has a million things to look at. In general it’s definitely a fun place to grab a drink and quick bite.

This place reminds me of home. So we’re out for my friend’s 21st birthday and he mentioned how he wanted to check out the Trailer Park Lounge. I was automatically intrigued when I heard the name and we decided to go there. You walk in and to me, it’s a paradise. It has this whole vibe that says«I ended up in Florida with my trailer and I also happen to collect a lot of pink flamingos» and I am so about that. Definitely not your typical NYC lounge. Our waitress was a total sweetheart and since I was intoxicated from the previous bar, I made her become my new best friend. She suggested the Jalapeño Margarita for me and I got some nachos to go with it. The nachos themselves were ok. Like they weren’t anything to rave about but they definitely satisfied my craving. My margarita though. Oh man. That was great. It’s very refreshing at first and then BAM. It hits you with spice. I loved that little surprise. I’m definitely coming back to this little trashy piece of heaven at some point.

Bar de quartier situé dans le lower Manhattan, la thématique ici c’est le camping car, déco de conséquence avec une baignoire derrière le bar lol. A recommander si vous souhiatez prendre une bonne bière après une journée passée à arpenter les rues de Manhattan.
