The Shops at Columbus Circle

Upscale mall in the middle of NYC. I love to visit the Whole Foods and H&M here. The bathrooms are clean. The place is not really noisy. The staff are polite and what you would expect at a mall of this caliber. I mainly come here in my travels to Central Park and to people watch. It’s perfectly light, airy and elegant. Exactly what I expect to see every time I come here.

They have a number of high end shops including Tumi, the flagship
Hugo Boss store and Bose so I always swing through those stores when I’m over there grabbing food at Whole Foods. There are some great restaurants as well such as Avoce and world class Per Se.

Love stopping in and shopping @ The Shops at Columbus Circle! This mall is upscale in fashion finds, home goods (William Sonoma), pretty beauty finds think Sephora’s, Face Stockholm, shoes (Cole Haans) & (Stuart Weitzman), unique jewelry finds, upscale handbags, purses & wallets; with my favorite’s being Etienne Aigner & where would a lady be without the iconic Michael Kors totes or the classic tried and true Coach! You want one of a kind candles with exceptional throw then check out the fabulous Diptyque and lots of other shopping stops here! What’s even better is the dining on the 3^rd level and the organic Super WholeFoods on the lower level!
Stroll across the street and your in Central Park West!
Nice Scenery, fabulous outdoors and shaded seating so you can people watch if that’s your thing in the warmer weather.

I love the J Crew and have shopped at the Bose Store. It’s spacious, lots of shopping, food, jazz, clean bathrooms, and beautiful views of Columbus Circle. I have no trouble navigating the floors.
I love the Whole Foods. It’s a great place to grab a quick bite to eat. Plenty of seating. Fairly clean most of the time! I highly recommend a visit.

I wouldn’t necessarily come here to shop shop. There are so many places in New York with more stores and offerings. However, if you want to see Columbus Circle and happen upon this mall, it’s worth walking through and taking the escalators up and down to get a view of Central Park South. There’s a Bouchon bakery on the 3^rd floor where you can rest your weary legs. There are a few medium-​priced clothing stores which may be worth a look.

I love popping in here for shopping, eating, Whole Foods sprees, etc. I believe there is something for everyone here (except kids.?).
Shops I love to visit — Sephora, Wolford, Whole Foods, H&M, L’Occitane, jewelry store (for repairs)
Restaurants — Landmarc (visit Dale at the bar!), Masa, PorterHouse, Bouchon Bakery… I’ve been waiting to try A voce. All the restaurants I’ve visited have stunning Central Park/​Columbus Circle views.
Really convenient location by the train, too.

Very nice high end shopping mall located in Columbus circle. Some stores I shop here are Michael Kors. j crew, coach, sephora, solstice, Armani, Swarovski, Montmartre, and h&m. Has dining with some very upscale restaurants on 3^rd floor. The whole foods here is fully stocked and always packed. The downside is the homeless who hang out in the restrooms. Every time I use the restrooms here there is homeless with their whole stash of cans bottles just standing in the bathroom. I was harassed one time by a vagrant. Security needs to stop this.

High end shopping at this mall with very nice interiors. Lots of shops including Coach, BOSS, Stuart Weitzman, Tumi, True Religion, Michael Kors, Lucky Brand, Eileen Fisher, Etienne Aigner, cole Haan, AIX Armani Xchange, Bebe, Swarovski, DOSE, Tesla, Sephora (very large 2 store fronts), Crabtree & Evelyn, Aveda, Diptyque (rare to find this cologne store in a mall), L’Occitane, Williams-​Sonoma, Papyrus, Montmarte. Restaurants Bouchon Bakery (top floor), Whole Foods Mkt (one of the larger WF Mkts I’ve seen on the bottom floor), La Maison du Chocolate (a small kiosk but again, rare to find this wonderful chocolate shop in a mall) — one of my fav French chocolates, Jamba Juice.
The famous Per Se (very expensive) restaurant is located in this mall as well as Masa.
Outside, you have a great view of Columbus Circle and Trump’s building across the street where Jean Georges Restaurant is located (Yum! But also pricey).

Small and limited shops. Nice restaurants on the top floor. However, there is not a single bench or place to sit in the mall corridors (excluding inside stores), so if you are waiting for someone shopping, be prepared to stand. If you sit on the ground, security tells you there is no sitting allowed. Get some benches! Thus, I’ll take my $ and shop elsewhere.

I absolutely love this place. Awkwardly, a 20-​year resident of NYC, I didn’t know about it until my cousin from Virginia told me about it.
I now work in walking distance. Yay!
I met one of my fave celebs here, my business partner (who lives out of state), ran into my cousin whom I rarely see — so many great moments. And I love upscale lifestyles and environments. I live in one, so I feel comfortable. Plus, it’s so big that I’ve never seen it crowded.
Oh, and have you looked at the apartments in that building via YouTube or a web search? It’s something to aspire to for sure!
Now for the ugly part, unfortunately.
I’m not going to say which store since there are rumors of companies suing Unilocal reviewers, but I will share my experience.
I was thrilled to learn that a brand that I am loyal to had a store located in the Time Warner Center. I walked in like a kid on Christmas at Toys R Us, but was received like an inmate from Orange is the New Black.
The salesman had more of a «What do YOU want?» vs. «How can I help you?» demeanor. He was arrogant and held the item above and away from me as he demonstrated it. It’s a pricey item, so I wanted to touch it. Otherwise, I’d buy it on Amazon. Duh.
After asking, he let me hold it, but I didn’t like his snooty attitude. However, Macy’s doesn’t have the item (I checked to avoid buying it from that store), so I will go back to get it.
That said, the people at this brand’s Macy’s locations were extremely kind, welcoming and helpful. So I’m not against the brand. I know that the TWC is very upscale in an area where incomes average above $ 150K and millionaires live in the building. But I happen to be successful in my own right and had the funds for the item.
They should treat everyone fair and equal until/​unless proven otherwise. This is how Barney’s got into trouble. So sorry, but minus one star.

Very nice place to browse if you want to kill time & not freeze to death outdoors. A lot of the shops here are incredibly expensive so unless you’ve got a lot of money, you’re not likely to find what you want. However, I did do a fashion show at the Stone Rose here so there is that if you travel high enough in this complex.

I browsed the stores and they’re all pretty expensive. Is a beautiful mall with great AC during the summer. Great spot to people watch and wish you had more money to actually shop LOL. I did check out L’Occitane because I love their lotions. This is a spot to check out if you’re in the area and want to browse.

There are just enough mix of shops to keep you occupied. I come here because this location and Elizabeth Street are the only two locations that carry my perfume. The people at the various shops are extremely pleasant compared to many which is definitely a plus.

What an elegant mall, even by Manhattan standards. Overlooking Central Park’s entrance, this mall houses the loveliest shops, finest restos and even people! There’s a residential tower! But since I’m a working schlub, let me review only the shopping part.
Whether you’re a visitor or a local, Columbus Circle should be on your must-​see agenda. A few of the shops in The Shops include Williams-​Sonoma, Bebe, Art of Shaving and a gorgeous Sephora. You can reconcile coming here to pick up some groceries at the Whole Foods located in the basement level. PS — WF makes sushi to order and they have a sitting area.
At Christmas, The Shops have a Mastercard Lounge. Anyone with a Mastercard gained access to free couches, cookies, coffee and water. But even if that’s only seasonal, the mall is clean, organized and well stocked all 12 months of the year. The restrooms are easily accessible on the second floor. Good to know, if you’re in Central Park and need a restroom near by and/​or to refill your water bottle.
Don’t be intimidated by the «fanciness» of this mall. They have store like H&M, suitable for any budget. NYC does have the best shopping but if you’re visiting or local, and need a rainy day activity, look no further! Definitely stop by, if not for the merchandise, surely for the lovely experience.

They have stuff for all levels of spending people here. You want a high end clothes? Michelin Star eats? or Maybe some grocery shopping? Maybe just a coffee and pastry? It’s crazy that this is a mall but it’s got some of the most well respected restaurateurs and brands you can think of. Good people watching from the high floors and screwy public art to boot

I’m so fancy, you already know. Iggy Azalea’s theme song is proper! I feel fancy when I’m in this spot. I used to go here pretty often and not much has changed.
They have the more popular shops like Pink (Thomas Pink — for my dapper gentlemen), Williams Sonoma, BeBe, L’Occitane, Swarovski, Sephora and the list goes on. Beautiful space, very clean, and bright. What else would you expect from an upscale shopping complex?
If you have some $$$$ check out Masa upstairs, I’ve only been there once to check out the kitchen and space but it’s great eats: P For more affordable eats, especially for students like me, there is a Whole Foods located at the lower level.

Über die «Shop’s «muß man nicht viel sagen. Die meisten sind zu teuer, es gibt zwar auch gegenbeispiele aber nur wenige, das Personal war Überwiegend nicht sehr freundlich und auch nur in den wenigsten fällen hilfsbereit. Wenn man nur zum Durchschlendern hingeht ist der Ort o.k.

Beautiful shopping with an incredible view of Central Park. Just don’t call it a mall :) It may look like one but they insist it not be called one. This place has a ton of very upscale shops so if that’s not your thing then you may find it lacking. Whole Foods in the basement is great. Upstairs you’ll find an impressive array of restaurants. Bouchon is a great bakery and lunch place. Landmarc has great food at pretty reasonable prices. Stone Rose is a very upscale lounge with strong drinks, attractive staff and great views of the park. It’s also home to some of the most expensive restaurants in Manhattan and I’m afraid I’ll leave the review of them to those with bigger expense accounts. The staff at the Bose store is very helpful and I’ve had great experiences shopping with them.

Lots of stores here with an interesting mix of things to choose from. For the most part it’s a pricey, designers paradise complete with great restaurants & retail shops & a fantastic Whole Foods downstairs.
But there is a (sometimes largely forgotten) H&M here. In comparison though to other H&Ms it’s really not that great though, but it serves its purpose and seeing as I work nearby — has gotten me out of some outfit jobs. I feel though as if there men’s department is drastically better than their women’s department, but the lingerie pickins’ here are pretty good if you’re going the cute, fun and cost-​efficient route.
Fancy-​pants stores and services aside, The Shops at Colombus Circle (ie. The Time Warner Center) also hosts some of NYC’s most famous (and super duper expensive) restaurants in which world-​renowned chefs who are masters in their craft make fancy-​pants food for fancy-​pants people. Jazz at Lincoln Center also has a box office here, yipee.

If I really had to sum this place up in one word, it would be: FANCY-​PANTS.

Plenty of shops and restaurants.
I come here every now and then. The stores are on the pricier side. There is a huge Whole Foods in here. It can get crazy packed. A favorite lunch spot of mine is Bouchon Bakery & Café. Yummy soups, salads, sandwiches and more.

Das «Time Warner Center» ist optimal geeignet, um einen Aufenthalt in NYC mit einem kleinen Shoppingtrip abzurunden. Dort gibt es Shops vieler bekannter Textilhersteller, Elektronikshops, Restaurants und viele weitere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Auffälig gut ist die Sauberkeit des «Time Warner Center», sowohl in den Shops, auf den Gängen, im Eingangsbereich, als auch die Sauberkeit der Toiletten. Außerdem kann man im «Time Warner Center» noch echte Schnäppchen machen, wir bezahlten für Poloshirts und T-​Shirts eines bekannten Hersteller ca. ein Drittel vom Deutschen Marktpreis.

Très beau centre commercial (il me fait penser à Concorde Lafayette mais en beaucoup plu beau et grand, et aéré).

Centre commercial très moderne et très luxueux.
Au sous-​sol se trouve un grand supermarché (comme quoi il existe bien des supermarchés à NYC) où l’on trouve toutes les nouveautés bio ainsi qu’un food court.
Au rez-​de-​chaussée, 1er étage et 2ème, vous pouvez trouver tout ce qui se fait du plus haut de gamme: un barbier, un sephora (très posh pour NY), un samsung store, Bose store, et j’en passé des plus prestigieux…
Un endroit à aller voir lors des fêtes de fin d’année: tout l’endroit est baigné de décorations et jeux de sons et lumières parfaitement réalisés!

Die Umgebung des Columbus Circle ist zweifelsohne wunderschön. Allerdings hat mich die Mall nicht wirklich überzeugt. Es gibt nur wenige, zugegeben, exklusive Läden und ein groß angepreisener Samsung-​Store, der leider auch nichts außegewöhnliches bietet. Einziger Lichtblick ist, meiner Meinung nach, der Supermarkt im Untergeschoß, der eine riesige Auswahl an organic food bietet.

Shops at Columbus Circle bezeichnet die sehr edle Shopping Mall in den unteren Etagen des Time Warner Buildings am Columbus Circle (westliche untere Ecke des Central Park).
Wenn man in der Gegend ist, sollte man dort unbedingt mal hinein gehen. Neben Shops von Williams Sonoma (Haushaltswaren), Swarovski, TUMI, Borders (Bücher), Sephora (Parfum) findet man hier auch nette Cafes und sehr gute Restaurants.
Wenn man mit der Rolltreppe ganz hinauf fährt, hat man von oben eine sensationelle Aussicht durch die Glasfront auf den Columbus Circle (siehe Bilder bei diesem Platz), die Ecke des Central Parks bis hinüber zur Häuserfront der Upper East Side (Ecke 5^th). Sehenswert ist auch die Lobby des Mandarin Oriental Hotels (ebenfalls im Time Warner Center).
Die Shops at Columbus Circle sind auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert und auch eine Runde um die benachbarten Blocks der Upper West Side lohnen sich. Sehr schöné Gegend!
