We serve the Midtown Manhattan community and beyond — offering meditation classes and mindfulness-​themed programming designed to enhance your physical, mental, and emotional well-​being.

Our offerings include Shinnyo guided meditation, Intro to Meditation, open sittings, Jazz Meditation, Matcha Meditation, wellness workshops and Buddhism studies for well-​being.

History

Established in 2014.

The Shinnyo Center for Meditation and Well-​being brings together fundamental Buddhist values into experiences that can be accessible to everyone in contemporary society.

The vision for the Shinnyo Center is to make all its activities a contribution to the public through programming that applies the core values of Shinnyo Buddhism to modern life. The Shinnyo Center offers a variety of quality programs that resonate with the situational and spiritual needs of those in metropolitan New York City, and guided and individual meditation sessions for people seeking increased balance and perspective in their day-​to-​day life, opportunities to mentally and emotionally develop on both personal and professional levels, and a warm and inviting community of respectful and mindful discourse.
