The Sex & The City Walking Tour

If you’re a New Yorker, like myself, I wouldn’t recommend this tour. I am a huge Sex and the City fan but you can easily do this «tour» yourself. I bought discounted tickets on Groupon for Mother’s Day (my mother is very young and also a fan). We ended up going on the tour in November and thankfully it was a beautiful day for walking around in the city. We met at Pastis with the rest of the group (mainly tourists) and walked around a few blocks radius. We stopped at DVF’s store, Highline Park, Magnolia’s bakery, a sex shop, Carrie’s stoop, SJP’s real stoop, the garden where Steve & Miranda got married, John Lennon’s NYC apt, Tortilla Flats and I think that was it. The main stop on the tour was Magnolia’s bakery, most of the people in our group waited on the long line to get some of the famous treats. The tour guide had a lot of knowledge of the show and everyone else seemed to enjoy themselves but I wasn’t too impressed. I think the experience would be different if those stops on the tour weren’t places I’ve seen a bunch of times before.
