I had been contemplating laser hair removal for over a year and never could decide where or with whom to take the risk. It’s hard finding professionals you can trust with your skin! I bought the Gilt coupon and scheduled my first appointment with Andrea. I am beyond satisfied with my results and the level of care she provides. Andrea has a wonderful spirit and energy and she is a knowledgable professional. She makes me feel at ease through the process of scheduling and throughout my appointment at the salon.
I highly recommend her to anyone looking for laser hair removal. I can’t wait to try her facials and I’m happy I’ve found such an amazing esthetician!- it was worth the wait!

I went to Golden Belle Spa for the first time yesterday for laser hair removal. I had purchased a voucher through Gilt City. I found it very easy to make an appointment. I was a little confused with the lobby buzzer system, apparently you have to press 5 and then the button with the little bell on it. The space is very clean and it doesn’t smell like burnt hair as some laser hair removal places do when you walk in. There is a pleasant incense smell and soothing music. The room where they did my treatment was very clean. Andrea was very knowledgeable and friendly and I will most definitely go back.

Took the trek from New Jersey based on my friends recommendations. It was well worth the trip!
Andrea is an expert, and as professional as they come. My husband and I received the facial, with a side of great skin care advice (no charge). We both agreed that we had never received such a thorough facial before. Yet there was no irritation during or afterwards. Our skin never felt or looked better.
She creates a very calm environment without trying to push other services or her beliefs in skin care. She gently advises and then moves on.
Will be going back for a long long time :)

I went to Andrea for a «just extractions» facial in August when she was at Bloom. I wished I had sprung for the full facial! She really did a great job with my stubborn clogged pores and couldn’t have been nicer. She also gave me advice about my skin care routine and her contact info in case I had any more questions. I’ve since moved away so I can’t go to her for facials anymore, unfortunately. But I plan on staying in touch. She’s seriously the best.

I got my first laser hair removal session done a month ago on my bikini and underarms after having the best facial of my life with Andrea. I’m extremely pleased with how thorough Andrea was. I never felt rushed! I highly recommend her for any skin services. She also believes in the less is more approach and she uses natural and organic products. I love her!

How do I even begin to describe Andrea? Upon my first visit with her, I was immediately comfortable. I’ve had facials before but never really felt a big difference. She’s full of good advice for sensitive skinned clients like myself! After just two facials and sticking to her suggested routine my combination skin is definitely more even. So, when she said that she was going to do LASER HAIR REMOVAL, I was immediately intrigued. Shaving leaves me with tons of ingrown hairs and never a smooth finish. I completely trust her now. So, we did my under arms. I LOVE IT! I saw results right away and with every visit I’ve been adding new zones to my service. I’m now an underarm, happy trail, and bikini line client. Her happy go lucky attitude and calming environment really sets her apart from other estheticians I’ve visited before. I’m super happy to find someone I can count on!

I met Andrea at another spa more than 2 years ago and have been going to her ever since. She is truly exceptional — not only does she listen to your skincare concerns, but she also takes the time to learn more about your lifestyle, dietary habits etc. and gives you guidance on how you can improve your skin overall. She is also a great listener; I find that many people tend to give their clients a cookie cutter facial, but Andrea does a good job of addressing your skincare concerns but is also extremely sensitive.
As someone who has rough skin, a pretty uneven skin tone and is susceptible to breakouts, I’ve always been hesitant to go to an aesthetician because some of them tend to use products that can be rather harsh for people with sensitive skin, and also make you more self conscious after a facial if your face is really red! After leaving the spa, my face is a little red, but it always goes away within 12 hours.
One thing that’s always been very important to me is going to an aesthetician that can do extractions well — Andrea is VERY thorough and I always feel like my face is so clean and unclogged afterwards!
I’ve lived in New York, Madrid, Mumbai and Hong Kong and gone to many aestheticians around the globe, I can wholeheartedly say that Andrea is the best aestheticians I’ve come across. Go to her — you will not be disappointed!

I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing Andrea is. I used to go to her religiously when she worked at a different spa, but she decided to follow her dreams of opening up her own little space and I could not wait to come visit her.
Her little space is inside of Bloom Beauty Lounge — which is this cute, whimsical space filled with vintage-​y romantic items. Her spa area is in the basement and is this beautiful space. It’s not a large space, as most facial rooms are not that big, but the space is used well and gives a really calming ambiance. It has a copper ceiling and these fantastic light bulbs that make the mood perfect.
Because Andrea knows my skin and I know the way she works, I will tell you what makes her exceptional. Because she used to work for another company, I suppose they had specific regimen they had to stick to. But now because this is her own space, she takes her time and it really makes you feel like you can relax and get a breath in. Generally speaking, you go to a facialist and they have a regular routine where they massage and mush your face, squeeze out the bad stuff and that’s that, but with Andrea it’s way different.
First, she cleanses your skin if you have any makeup, then she examines your skin. She does a really thorough examination and bounces your skin, looks deeply, etc. From there, she’ll ask you some questions like «how is your water intake? (mine is always bad wah!), what concerns do you have with your skin?» From there she builds a regimen particular for your own skin needs. She hand picks all the products she uses for her services as well as the products she uses on you!
After a steaming process on your face to open up your pores, she extracts your face (if she feels necessary) and then treats your face with different masks. As she allows the masks to dry and what not, she treats your skin! She’ll give you arm massages, shoulder massage and when your mask is done, she gives you the most luxurious, relaxing, ‘i wish she could do this forever’ facial massage. She takes her time and five minutes in, I’m struggling to stay awake because I really want to treasure each and every moment of this glorious facial massage!
Andrea is very knowledgeable, thorough and gives off such positive vibes. She does a great job of feeding off of your vibes — if she senses you’re stressed, she’ll give you time to really decompress, if she realizes you have lots of energy, she’s always up for chatting. I have always loved Andrea and her services, but now that she has her own space to do what she wants, they are even better than ever! I would not hesitate for one second to recommend her! She is seriously fantastic and one of the BEST estheticians out there — and let me tell you, as a beauty blogger, i’ve been to my share of them! :)
