Great music and nice female to male ratio. The staff is courteous and service is great if you get to know the waiter well which might take a visit or two.

Went to Circle for the first time 4 years ago. Decided to go again last Saturday for Memorial Day Weekend. Worst. Idea. Ever. This club is just ridiculous. They try to act like a top tier club without the A+ service or venue to back it up. Super rude and uninformative waiters/waitresses, bouncers, and even the restroom attendant was rude and pushy. We got a table and trying to bring up an extra GIRL was literally one of the most hardest things I have ever experienced at a club. Even Vegas clubs aren’t that strict about bringing girls to a table. Also, why are guys serving bottle service… Only club I’ve been to where a hot girl doesn’t bring out the bottles. Like ??? Positive things about Circle: lights are decent and the fruit platter at the table was good.

No No No. Just No. It is a small korean club pretending to be an elite NYC club. The short little bald man gives everyone an Attitude and wants to milk money from patrons for no reason. They keep pushing for bottle service at the door but we know better. The pole dancers on top of the bar were kinda out of place and the crowd is a joke if anything. Even as a Japanese I feel strange because it was really clicky and no one spoke English or is interested in speaking English. Koreans stick with Koreans, Chinese with the Chinese… etc. Save yourself some time and go to a real club in meatpacking if you like a younger crowd.

didn’t have a problem with any of the bouncers. I would even go as far as saying they were actually pretty friendly efficient and quick. we lined up around 11ish. cover charge was about $ 20 each which is understandable for the venue, location and time around midnight, the sexy ass pole dancers made their appearances. nice touch. ladies bathroom was cramped but handed out free lollipops which was cute. one star taken off for: venue size. so small and cramped. felt like sardines in a can which made my experience very unenjoyable. another star taken off for: price of drinks. really? $ 15 for shot of jameson? fine. two shots were $ 30… handed a $ 40 and bartender only gave back $ 5. didn’t know self tipping was a thing now. not to mention generous self tipping. lesson learned. pre-game before coming. alwayyyyys. half star taken off for: music. danced to edm shit the whole night.

I’ve come here on multiple occasions, particularly when friends are in town and they want to experience this«night life». It’s a predominantly Asian/Korean nightclub where they make the lines outside extremely long when actually, there’s no one inside. I was waiting in line once and saw a bouncer kick out a drunk 20 year old student from Yale with a fake ID. She tried to flirt with the bouncer to get away with it, but the bouncer wasn’t haven’t it and kicked her out. The whole scene was pretty entertaining. The venue itself is actually really small. It gets so packed by 1am that you’d probably get pushed around by drunk people with nowhere to move. I’ve been here with a group that had table service and it was a pretty fun night. There was a fruit plate that had sparklers with each bottle that comes out. The music was EDM and some version of top 40 songs, with throbbing and neon color lights. Some girls here get soo drunk. I’ve seen girls get carried out the door by bouncers because they are completely blacked out. You’ll see some strange things at Circle. Overall, Circle is a good time if you’re in a mood for a raging night out. There’s just the hassle of a line and getting in if you’re a guy. If you’re a girl it shouldn’t be too hard to get in. However if you’re a guy, you probably need to buy bottle service or just get lucky for the bouncer to let you in.

They don’t even deserve a one star. My friends and I got there and the security guard checked our ids. The girls we’re allowed in before guys which is not a big deal. However by the time we got to the line the same security guard kicked us out of line. We asked the Korean worker for the manager and he directed us to the security guard. What a joke!!! If you don’t have bottle service or you appear to their standards, you might as well go home. We came all the way from California to experience a nightlife and this was a big let down. DONOTCOMEHERE!!!

Get bruises and literally scars from circle nightclub with 600 paid. The Most rude bouncer you would ever see in your life! They like throwing people around just like they were toys or something. Call 911 if necessary. If you enjoyed racial discrimination or you are a masochist, highly recommend this place!!!

I would totally give this place zero star if I had a choice, for I have never been to a less classy place than Circle in New York. For some inexplicable reasons, all of my Asian friends who visited New York from out of town had heard about this place and strongly demanded I take them to this notorious Asian club(filled with mostly Chinese guys/Korean guys from flushing). Their command is my wish; as a good friend, I granted their wish by taking my beautiful girl friends to a club full of «surprises». As soon as we arrived as a group of five on a Saturday night, we didn’t wait for long before gaining free access to the club. Oh boy it was such a huge mistake as the music was terrible(not your top 40s or hip hop, but Korean pop and electronic). What aggravated the situation even more was that we were surrounded by guys who were too grabby and handsy! The chivalry was completely dead at this place. All I saw everywhere was packs of drunk Asian guys who were desperate in taking girls back home. I was disgusted with the guys in the club who could not shut up and keep their hands to themselves– it was a complete meat market! The guys were just hand picking their favorite type of meat for a late night snack. I suggest you take your good girlfriends somewhere else if you love them :)

You’re reading my Unilocal review about Circle. First mistake. Do not pass GO or collect $ 200. This is your quintessential NYC Asian(Korean really) Monopoly Chance Card Club. You’re not Korean or can speak a bit? Second mistake, but really I don’t get that as much. You’ve never heard about this place and you’re not a smoking hot girl? Wait, that’s a paradox. Why would you go here then? Fine, fine. Sometimes we all mistakes right? Wait though, do you remember that one time you drank too much, were super hungover the next day, and swore you would never drink again? Right, well I promise you’ve had a drink again after that day. Does this epitomize Circle and all you need to know now? What, you really want a «real» review? Well I really hope you know somebody here already. Or you got a table. Then again is that really any different from a standard club? Get ready to grind to your standard loud EDM, Top 40, Hip Hop, Korean club music, etc. It’s Asian. It’s loud. It’s a club. Have fun, this spot always seems to be, well, the spot.

I didn’t even get to go in because some of the people that was part of my group got denied access. It’s $ 20 to get in for guys and probably free for girls to get in. They’re crazy strict with dress code(one got denied because of this). The bouncers are not professional what so ever. Racist af and brought back segregation from the Martin Luther King Jr era. If you support a Korean version of Donald Trump, this is your place.

1. They will force you to coat check everything which can be reasonable but you gotta be more upfront about like saying while in the line. 2. Guys be prepared to pay $ 20 entry all night even on super quiet nights with no one inside. 3. No card facilities to pay for the above so bring cash. 4. The place is dead inside at 12.30 on a Saturday like 10 people. 5. Rude staff. 6. Don’t bring a bag bigger than a clutch cos you’ll need to check it.

WOW. This place is a joke. I don’t even know where to start. What happened to the dress code? Everyone was dressed super casual in jeans, sneakers, and sweaters. And to the dude wearing the fedora in the club, why??! It’s 80% Korean fob guys who clearly don’t know how to dance. Don’t take up the dance floor if you’re just gonna stand there on your phone. Go home! It was SO crowded people were pushing me left and right; my friends and I were bruised up from all the pushing. DJ should consider getting a new job because he sucked. He would stop the music every 10 mins and make us sing the lyrics. Um… We’re at a club not a concert. It broke my heart to see him try so hard. I’m never coming back. Waste of my $ 20. Also coat check is mandatory and its $ 3.

I would give this zero stars if I could. This establishment is rude towards its customers and the sub zero mortal combat guy is not only rude but racist. We were told because we have 6 people in our party that we needed to get a table and were kicked out before we ever entered the club. When we asked for the table we were told it was $ 500 and waited for the mortal combat guy to come back. After waiting 20 minutes in the cold he told us we couldn’t get the table now. I don’t think I’ve experienced being treated this bad in a very long time. Do yourself a favor and stay away from an establishment like this. They’re rude and do not care about their patrons.

I came here on a Friday night at 2am because my girlfriend who was visiting from Cali loves Korean guys and this is the only place I could think of since she loves her asians! We stand outside for about 10 min and the bouncer/doorman didn’t acknowledge us when we were standing in front of the rope and they took their sweet time while we were waiting in the cold! They finally check our ID and then we walk in and asked for a $ 20 cover fee at 2am! who does that! For never even wanting to go there and when I finally actually considered going there for a friend confirms of me never going back again. Not worth it.

Everyone has a love-hate relationship with this place. You say it’s the worst place but somehow always end up coming here despite that. This place is THE Asian club in the city, and if you want that crowd, then this is the place to go. Here’s the low down: — Ladies are free before midnight, so get here by then if you don’t want to pay $ 20 cover. — Ladies wear heels and put on a face because you will be turned down. — Men wear dress shirts and shoes. — Separate line for ladies and men. — Be Asian! If you’re not, then you must know the guys at the door to get in. Otherwise you most likely will be denied as their reason will be that it is a private event. Or you will be forced to buy a bottle. — Coat check is $ 4. — Drinks are about $ 20. — There is booking in this club, which means that male waiters will come grab ladies and bring them to tables where you get free drinks and talk to the men at the tables. — Men will grab you while you’re on the dance floor and grind on you. Push them away if you’re not into that. Otherwise keep with it and who knows what will happen at the end of the night. — Don’t be surprised by hookups as that is a common theme. — Music is great but it’s a bit hard to dance with the amount of people on the dance floor. You will also be screaming at whoever you’re talking to because the music is so loud. — Bouncers will throw you out.

Pretty pricey place but overall the music is very good. Coat check was $ 4 per coat and surcharge for guys was $ 20! It’s ridiculous– considering it was just a regular Friday night. Music was good, dj knows how to make people dance.

I was throw out into the streets by bouncers with no explanation. I asked why and they said«we don’t argue, go home» My friends were inside I went again and the bathroom guy was harassing people saying«don’t tip me and I’ll have you kicked out»

Oh Circle… aka express train to blackout central. I think this place is bearable if you are in your early 20s otherwise… nope nope nope. I used to come here back in the day and it seemed okay with the laser lights and smoke but then again I didn’t remember much of my experience any of those times… hence blackout central. It’s like the only way to tolerate any of what is going on inside this club. Mainly a Korean crowd with a rare sighting of non-asians here and there but this is SUPERRARE, it’s like finding mew in the pokemon game… impossible. Drinks– Super expensive– tip is included so don’t tip on top of the tip. Club– circle formation with laser lights and smoke coming out once in in awhile Crowd– ASIANS — mostly Korean. Korean girls with lollipops in their mouths that they got from the bathroom Cover– 20 bucks I think I am just too old for this but if you are young and sprightly then by all means come here and get hammered– pregame heavily.

A LOVE-HATE relationship is going on. It’s hard to not love Circle! The music, the lighting, the crowd, the FUN, the drinks, and the vibe definitely make my nights unforgettable! Luckily, I’m an Asian, so I kind of fit into this mainly Korean crowd. Also, I’ve only been here when my friend gets a table, which makes the experience entirely DIFFERENT and increases the fun-level by A LOT. Even starting at 10/11pm, there’s already a decent crowd, and by 12/1am, this place is PACKED! My friends and I love dancing, so we go into the dance floor in the beginning and throughout the night. However, it can extremely difficult to move through the dance floor because there are just way too many people. It’s very common to get pushed and be left with bruises the next day. I never needed to buy drinks, but I heard it’s kind of pricey. PROs: –good music –mainly Asian –fun lighting –good crowd/popping –spacious dance floor –night doesn’t end until 5pm CONs: –mainly Asian(sucks if you’re not cause it can be kind of racist and exclusive) –LONGBR lines –expensive drinks(but honestly, where in NYC is cheap?) –crowded
