TD Bank

I decided to change banks and TD, I love their pens and their accounts and I love the color green so it was an easy choice. I arrived right before closing at 7:30pm on a Friday night to this branch after riding my bike from work and thankfully there was bike parking, this made me very happy and made me feel like this bank is very convenient. I waited a few minutes before being helped by the manager with a checking and savings account. The process was quick, easy and I received my debit card on the spot. The manager was very nice, friendly and approachable. This branch has bathrooms, lollipops and TD pens. And there is also a security guard/​police officer. I like my bank so far.

Hard to shop with your pet. We need more Pet Friendly places for people who love their pets and have to shop and do their business.

The service here sucks. Right now they’re taking care of one customer while 5 others wait and they’re fully staffed. Nobody seems to be doing anything. Most of the staff here seems totally useless. At least they have free parking.

TD Bank has always been hit or miss for me. It is good for basic checking and the coin machine, that’s it. I went in today to talk about other products and the customer services rep was pretty condescending. Having been a TD Banker for many years and having a substantial balance don’t seem to matter.
I’m visiting Bank of America next week.

Horrid service. Rude representatives. This branch is full of unprofessional bankers. The supervisor speaks to people rudely, and the other employees follow her lead. Today I went in to resolve a banking issue, and the banker did not listen to a word I said. Instead he began calling other people on the phone (ignoring my presence) to ask them about MY account. I tried to explain on my own but he literally hushed me! The bank tried to charge me double for their mistakes! In addition to the branches being scarce, (I had to walk a mile to get there from sears in flatbush) no one seems to know what services the bank offers. I called customer service & 3 different representatives assured me students could have a free savings account, when I go into the branch, they said their is no such thing and they refused to refund me for the fees they charged me. I am closing my account first thing in the morning. This is the worst bank in all of America.

Horrendous! I have had an account with them for years, and I went in to change some Euros I had laying around into dollars. I was in there for 45 minutes… a series of people had to come over and no one seemed to know how to complete this simple transaction. Once the exchange rate had been sorted out (after MULTIPLE phone calls to who knows where), the customer service representative went in the back for 20 minutes to get the dollars, then returned repeatedly to tell me to be «patient» because they were having «issues in the back.» Made NO sense since all he had to do was get the cash. In addition, I was changing only about 30 euros, and they charged me a $ 7.50 «exchange fee»…definitely not worth it. The staff are in general completely incompetent, and this is just one of many nightmarish experiences I have had there.

this is the worst bank ever experienced. they’re tellers want to beat you up, the managers act like they’re the biggest shots in the world. basically you better off not coming here. Nasty Nasty Nasty, beyond words.

I only come down when in dire need of change for my business which is located not too far from this branch. It seems whenever I come in, the staff treats me like I owe them money. On top of this, they treat my workers worse than they treat me. One worker today explained to me after a particularly unwelcoming visit that the teller first refused to give him singles. He asked for the supervisor being that this particular teller always refuses to give him singles. The supervisor began requesting his personal information including his ID and social security number. Afterwards he was subjected to racist comments about him being Egyptian and giving them problems. Can you believe it? It is absolutely disgusting. I’ve closed my accounts in the past due to this lack of professionalism and I have a good mind to report them to the better business bureau. Bankers beware!

It’s a bank, people. Get over yourselves. Never had an issue here and tellers are always courteous. Love the hours.

Surpringly, this bank is located in a great neighborhood. But it’s located at a key outlet from the ‘hood’ so the customer base is… interesting. I’ve never been in a bank with so many backwards caps, loud exchanges between customers, and a pitbull hanging out inside the bank with a customer. Customer service is expectedly a bit rude.
customer: «I was charged twice for something»
bank teller: «OK, so what do you want?»
customer: «I’d like my money back from one of the charges please»
bank teller: «OK that’s with customer service»

it’s increasingly rare to find a bank with staffers who are competent, efficient, and nice. say what you will about TD Bank, the employees at this location get the job done, do it well, and do it without giving you attitude or pressuring you into signing up for crap.
there’s a drive-​through part too, though I never use it.
I rarely use my TD account, and I don’t live in Brooklyn anymore, but on the rare occasions I’m in the area and need to hit a bank, I make it a point to go here. nothing like turning a ton of spare change into more usable dollar bills!
