Love the food here, great lunch specials I must say. However the venue is a little small.

Good food and quick service. Ideal esp if you want to catch a movie across the road after. It’s a small place but clean, cute and authentic Thai food, I definitely recommend.

This is favorite Thai spot in NYC. The food is on point and it’s a cozy little place. Good music, good service, and candles make it even better. They deliver as well

I order here often for lunch (delivery) and am very pleased with their lunch specials. The tom yum soup is delicious and their pad thai satisfies. Every time I order for a group, there’s always exceptions requested to each entrée and they never mess it up. That is what I’m most impressed with to say the least.

Last week we have a business lunch catered by Talent Thai. The food was delicious and the service was fast. We needed a copy of the original receipt for expense purposes and I called the restaurant in hopes that they would have the original for the receipt. They sent me the copy of the receipt within 20 minutes of my call. Thank you for the fast service and the delicious food!

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. About a year ago, I purchased a groupon to try this restaurant. It’s a little out of the way for me, so I never made it here. Today, since I was able to leave work a little earlier, I decided to give it a try. The promotional value expired but I paid $ 15 for it which was still good.
I tried the spicy basil noodles, vegetarian rolls, Tom Kha soup, and Thai iced tea. EVERYTHING was delicious. Before finishing my food, I decided to come back with friends. The service was great, friendly and fast. There isn’t much of a crowd (2 other tables) but the delivery guy seemed quite busy. I’m still sitting here writing this review while I wait for the check. The soup was the tastiest, strong lime with coconut milk. And, the spicy basil noodle with veggie duck (my favorite dish) was perfect! Perfect amount of spice and bold flavors.
I usually go to Sookk on the UWS for my Thai food. It’s great to know that now I have a place on the east side. One minor complaint… I wish they had offered me chop sticks with my meal. They didn’t and I didn’t really bother to ask. It wasn’t a big deal. I’m just used to receiving both utensils. Anyway, you must try this place. It is all around fantastic!

I was in love this place before, their service is good, food is good, everything is good. Today I went to this place again, this one person gave me the worst service i’ve ever got. I ordered a lunch special to go, the Thai iced tea is alway included in the lunch special. But he says that’s for stay and I wanted to go. I had order to go before and it included the Thai iced tea for me. This person has completely changed my impression to this place. He almost yelled at me with his thick accent :/​WORST ATTITUDE EVER!!!

I’ve never eaten in the restaurant before, but, I have ordered take-​out from here on multiple occasions, and boy are they fast. Don’t let seamless fool you with the delivery time — it’s usually well below the estimate.
I haven’t tried any other Thai restaurants in Murray Hill but why would I when this place has been consistently yummy and I’ve yet to be let down? And when I mean consistently good, I’m not joking when I say I’ll order the same few thing (s) every time. Always tastes the same. The pad thai, pad see ew, crab rangoons and yellow curry are so flavorful. Also love their thai iced tea if I’m angry at my waistline.
Sometimes (and I’m not sure what the rhyme or reason is), I receive a complimentary thai iced tea! The delivery guys are super friendly too so make sure you’re nice and tip them well :)

Ok so I’m not sure why people have been having bad experiences, but I always order from here and let me say, the food is really really good. Every time I walk into the restaurant it smells amazing. I almost want to go up to people and ask them what they ordered because it smells so nice. The chicken dumplings are so tasty and so is the pad Thai. I have went to a handful of restaurants in the area searching for a well balanced pad Thai and this one is the best so far. Love the drunken noodles and a few other selections on the menu. Please do try this place I’m telling you it is awesome! And the lunch special is $ 8.70 to be exact. So for that price to get a great meal + mini app+ water is just wonderful.

Eh ok so. I stopped here for lunch and they had a lunch menu so plus here for the price which included a meal of your choice with a small small appetizer and a drink for I don’t know $ 10 or less (I paid the whole bill with a friend and it was just under $ 20)
anyway I ordered the curry chicken mild I think it was recommended to me and Thai tea with 2 pork dumplings as the tiny appetizer. The dumplings where great I would actually go back for those my food … Was first off cold. Like semi warm hit and miss via microwave ??? Idk whatever I didn’t want to complain taste wise was also okish it had a lot more coconut flavor then curry and i think also being cold I couldn’t appreciate it. Then I found hair in my food ok so no appetite now really. My tea was good .
Service was slow I mean … We where the only table to be serving and they took forever to take our order bring out for and collect our check. We where the only day ones there .
So I don’t know if they care or not but lol that was my lovely experience. (my friend ordered pineapple rice and a spring roll) she enjoyed her food but I also forgot to ask her if her food was cold too. Meh I just won’t be going back

After many visits by my spouse, I was finally able to partake of this hidden gem. My favorite shrimp pad thai was scrumptious. They even have my absolute favorite dessert: mango and sticky rice! The ambience is delightful and aestically pleasing. I’d definitely recommend this quaint spot.

My go to spot for lunch. Absolutely delicious basil fried rice. Only gave 4 stars because at times it can be too spicy.

It’s my first time here and the food and service is great. I ordered Khao Soi which tasted exactly like the one in Thailand.

The lunch specials are great! Good portion size, excellent, fast and polite service. Super clean!

PLEASE READ MY REVIEW… so that not ONLY was the WORST food I have EVER had! I mean EVER had… it also took almost 2 HOURS to get to me. Now I am FURIOUS… I had to end up throwing it out it was so repulsive the mango salad was brown and wilted… the soup was AWFUL beyond! I am starving and spent money on food that I couldn’t even eat!
DO NOT GO HERE!!! PERIOD!

Talent Thai is located in Murray Hill, it’s pretty cozy and the waiters are nice, but overall it’s just another ordinary Thai place. Nothing really stands out. Their pad thai was way too sweet and their basil noodles are just ok. It’s hard to mess those standard dishes up. This is definitely not a place I’d go out of the way to try, but it’s an option if you’re in the area looking for some Thai food.

Terrific lunch deal. I got the basil noodles something-​or-​other. I suppose delicious is an overdone adjective, but they were, surprisingly so for what looks like just another hole-​in-​the-​wall Thai place. Eight bucks for lunch entrée, appetizer, and your very own bottle of water. AND those $ 5 martinis. My pomegranite was just fine…

We ordered dinner from Talent Thai on a Friday evening and it was terrible!
First of all, according to the Seamless estimate, the delivery would arrive in 15 minutes which is why we ordered from here… We were starving… 60 minutes later our food arrived.
Then I realized why it took an hour — they clearly had to overcook the rice and wait for the curry to get cold. The rice was the WORST, soggiest, overcooked rice I’ve ever had. I mean seriously, how can you screw up rice?!?
As if that wasn’t bad enough, the curry was just god awful. The green curry was way too liquidy, I’m not sure they put any coconut milk in to thicken it up. The chicken was awful and had bits of gristle in it. The massaman curry was not any better. Normally I love Thai food and can scarf down at least a full order of curry, but I couldn’t even finish the curry, it was so bad.
The final icing on the cake is that my husband ordered a side of Tom yum soup. Clearly somebody dropped the soup because the lid was cracked and broken. Instead of putting it into a new cup, someone just wrapped a bunch of Saran Wrap around it. It leaked all over the bag, all over our counter, and was nearly impossible to get out of the Saran Wrap booby trap. What a joke.
I will NEVER order from here again.

Lives up to it’s name alright.
Reason being it has a very hard to find Thai dish thats not in 95% of thai restaurants. If they have this, then they are in the top 5% of the world (I go places so I know — trust me on this). That dish is called Khao Soi. A northern thai dish which is in abundance in Chiang mai
Oh and its very affordable too.

Oh man. I want to love Talent Thai, because they have a very affordable ($ 7.95) lunch special that extends to even the weekends but… I just can’t.
The good: Their delivery guys are always so nice and so friendly. It sounds small, but it’s pretty rare. Portion sizes are pretty large.
The bad: The food is passable, but pretty bland. It always arrives super soggy… I don’t even know how exactly it’s possible, but it’s always dripping in something watery. I adore Thai food and I keep giving Talent Thai a shot, but the food never really gets better.
