Have I seriously not reviewed this place yet? Omg… This is one of my favorite food trucks in fidi! I am always tempted to get their quesadilla… ALWAYS tempted even when I’m trying to stick to my diet. The quesadilla is literally like a glorified taco. but way better. It’s a super huge homemade tortilla with your choice of meat, then heated up to melt the cheese with lettuce, crema, tomato, and beans. gah… I wish i wasn’t on a diet so I could eat this now. like literally this second.

This was the worst food ever and it cost too much. I waited 20 minutes for my food. Never will go there again.

Stopped here on my lunch break for a quick bite to eat. I got chorizo quesadillas, and they were delicious! The guacamole was fresh, and the chorizo had the perfect amount of spice. Definitely recommend trying them if you see their truck!

Truly the most amazing Mexican food truck in FiDi. I love everything on the menu. My all time favorite is the cecina cemitas, EXTRA spicy! It’s hard to find great food in this area at that price. The menu is all under $ 10. Can’t beat a $ 5 quesadilla! I recommend this place to everybody!

It’s fast & it’s what I would have expected Nyc Mexican food to taste like. Having lived in Texas & California, I can say it’s not on par with good Mexican food but edible.

Super authentic and quick, with friendly people to boot. Hidden gem, there was a bit of a line, so they have a local following, but with this being only the third review, they deserve more exposure. Per the recommendation of a prior Unilocal review, got the bistec(steak) huaraches — LOADED with tasty, seasoned meat, and topped with delicious veggies and sauces. Get it spicy, you won’t regret the flavor trip. Also, only $ 5.50 — chicken and other options were just $ 5 I believe. Definitely will return.

I’m so glad I gave this truck a shot. I’ve seen it out of the corner of my eye so many times, but since there’s never a line, I didn’t think to try it until yesterday. It’s now going to be my go to taco spot while at work. It’s by no means the best tacos in New York, but it’ll do for weekday lunch. There are usually construction workers ordering in Spanish, def a good sign. Tacos are either 3 or 3.50 with a good variety of meats to choose from. Al Pastor was decent, carnitas not so much. Good portion sizes, and each taco comes with some toppings and salsa verde on 2 corn tortillas like the way god intended. They also have tortas, cemitas, tostadas, sopes, quesadillas, and burritos.

Every weekday afternoon until about 3pm, Tacos Morelos parks on Wall Street on either side of Pearl Street. I’ve been eating here for almost 2 years now, and recently I’ve become obsessed. For tacos, they’re great, fresh corn tortillas, flavorful tender meats, delicious salsas and toppings. For burritos and tortas and enchiladas, they’re pretty good, as well. But what I love most are their huaraches, holy crap they’re delicious, and an excellent filling option for a mere $ 5. Mmm, cecina!
