Subway

I usually don’t eat at chain restaurants but I had to start slimmin’ down from all the booze and BBQs I’ve devoured this summer lol. I digress. This Subway’s pretty well-​maintained and clean. Employees are friendly, efficient and make your food FAST which is a plus for hungry people like myself during lunch hour.
But the REAL highlight and the ONLY reason why I give this place 4 stars instead of 3 however, is the fairly spacious upstairs seating area with BIG windows with a good view of the streets and down below which is sort of rare for NYC and sort of reminded me of Seoul, my hometown where many eateries and cafes are located on the 2−5^th floor with big windows and a view.
Probably the ONLY downside is that there are NO RESTROOMS or anywhere
to wash your hands which is disgusting to my standards. At least provide for Purell or some sort of Hand Sanitizer for God’s sake! It’s only $ 1.99 at a nearby Deals Store!

This is a pretty good Subway. Very quick and fairly clean. What makes it extraordinary is the second floor seeting with big windows and a good view. In most fast food places, I feel like I’m eating in a small box or basement. This is much better. The food is just Subway, but in East Harlem, it’s a great place to eat and people watch.
