I order a footlong on Seamless. I have only one request: place the sauce on the side.
I go to pick up my sandwich. There are no other customers.
The Subway employee looks up from his newspaper. I tell him that I placed an order online. They give me my sandwich.
He says, «Oh, we put the sauce on the sandwich. Is that okay?»
I HAD ONE REQUEST. ONE.

With the weather being nice out the past week, I took a stroll away from the office and ended up at this Subways near 49th. Nothing really much different than most other Subways in the city, but this branch only has 4 foot long sandwiches for $ 5 on the menu, while the rest of the sandwiches are $ 6.49 and up. Thanks but no thanks… I’ll stick to my regulars on 3rd Ave
