Meet the Manager

Marvette Henderson R.

Manager

Marvette has been teaching violin lessons and sharing her love of music with children for over 7 years. In her youth, she began her violin studies at Stevens Point Suzuki Institute and has studied with renowned faculty from music festivals such as Meadowmount School of Music, Bowdoin Music Festival, and Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival. Marvette has held a teaching assistantship at Brevard Music Center, and taught a large studio of students of all ages and levels at the New School of Music. She has also been a member of the Symphony of the Americas, Columbus Symphony Orchestra, and the Naples Philharmonic.

Marvette received a bachelor’s of music in violin performance from Florida State University and currently working towards her Master’s degree in Music and Music Education at Columbia University, Teachers College. She currently teaches and assisted in the design of the curriculum for the Music Explorers childhood education program at Columbia University.
