Stanley is always helpful and ready with a smile. Great advice on everything from pharmaceuticals to natural remedies. The kombucha is awesome as is their espresso! Definitely a neighborhood gem!

This place really makes the neighborhood feel like a neighborhood. Stanley is hella good at both the herbs and the prescriptions, and will always tell you the little things they miss at the drugstore (seriously!) if you get a prescription filled here. Plus if you’re feeling sick, tired, or just plain crappy, Stanley or Dalton will hook you up with a tea or a shot (or both!) that will send you home feeling ever so much better than you walked in. Just tell them how you are feeling and how you want to feel, and you’re good.
And yes, fresh delicious kombucha! And hot chocolate made properly with water instead of milk! (And coconut sugar, for those watching their glycemic indices…)
Plus you can get a coffee while you’re waiting for your pills. Is there any downside? Ok, it’s not a quick place to grab caffeine and go. You might have to wait as they prepare you something fresh, personalized, and to order. Do I care? Not when I’m headed to Stanley’s.

Firstly, the staff is incredibly inviting and listens to your symptom banter without any judgements. You can go to Stanley himself, or Dalton, and they will make you any sort of elixir to cure your ailments. They introduced me to anxiety and stomach relaxing teas that have since changed my well-​being. While the price tag can be considered steep, the product you are receiving is unique and of the utmost highest quality. In addition to all of their natural/​organic product, Stanley is also your local Western medicine pharmacy. If I didn’t live so far from the store, I would certainly bring my scripts here.
Stanley brings the old-​world vibe pharmacy vibe to a new world overwhelmed with big box pharmacies and cranky employees with little to know patience to serve their customers. Expect only the best; a New York City staple.

Need a pick me up or a casual café to get some work done? This should be you’re new spot. It’s peaceful, the employees have a lot of knowledge of their craft, and you’ll definitely find something you like. Glad I stumbled upon this gem!

Stanley is amaze. I’m bicoastal which creates some serious temperatures changes my body hates. Stanley helped me find some teas that were appropriate for me.
He’s super helpful and thorough. What a charming business. If it were on my block I’d stop by every morning for some tea and a hang.

I mean… If you don’t know. U NEED to know. Stanley’s awesome! The staff is extremely helpful. You can rely on Stanley to help you fix your hangover to your PMS mood swings.

Great coffee, customer service at both the pharmacy and coffee bar is welcoming. The location has a nice street view as well.

I wish I could go here every goddamn day. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. AND DRINK KOMBUCHA ON TAP FOREVER UNTIL THE END OF TIME.

This place is a breath of fresh air. Not only will Stanley’s remedies fix any ailment, they also have delicious drinks and coffee. I went in every time I felt a cold coming on to drink their immunity booster drink, which kept the sickness at bay. Stanley is super helpful with all your pharmacy needs. Highly recommended, incredible pharmacy.

What is this amazing wonderland of healthful things?! I came here randomly tonight and was handed a cup of kombucha on tap that tasted better than any I have ever had in my life. Fizzy, light, and subtly sweet, this is the Kombucha of the Gods.
Anyway, I can easily tell this is just the tip of the iceberg. For instance, they sell Intelligentsia Coffee and espresso! They have nutty herbs and salves everywhere! They make their own tonics!
Also, all the people in here look like they could be in Uniqlo ads and the ambiance is like neo-​eco-​minimalist-​chic. Plus, the dude who runs this place is captial C Cool. Seriously, what even is this place?
How do they have kombucha that tastes so fresh and wonderful on tap? How does that even work? This place is nuts and I plan to come here every single time I am in LES/​Upper Chinatown. I strongly recommend you give this true hidden gem a try.

Stanley is so kind, friendly, hip and knowledgeable. Not your typical pharmacy, that’s for sure! Feels more like a futuristic soda shop and the atmosphere beats Duane Reade and Rite Aid. Picked up a lovely, soothing tea for my sore throat plus an herbal remedy for my son’s sinus condition. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the elixirs! So much fun. Every time I go, I learn something new.
