Our professional mission is the beautiful enhancement and maintenance of our patient’s soft tissue, dental, TMJ and oral airway health in a skilled and personalized fashion. The beautiful creations of our warm and sophisticated dental practice can honestly be seen on Broadway and television as well as the local public school. Fairness and excellence are important to us; after 25 years, each of our team members tries to see our patients as family. Together we work to solve their specific and individual needs. History

Established in 1985.

Since 1985 Dr. Boyd has desired to treat the individual with compassion and excellence. «As I observed individuals from different demographics, one thing became clear to optimize health, we have to treat oral health with a holistic view.» Dr Boyd’s path to understanding oral health as part of a functioning whole and to develop his mission of care was learned with advanced training over the years at The Dawson Center for Advanced Dentistry, NYU Medical Center, Yale University, Tufts University and The Las Vegas Institute for Rehabilitation as well as with charitable service and compassionate observation of many thousands of patients and individuals. Our team shares this mission and we have combined over 115 years of professional experience together.

Manager

Born is Santiago, DR I moved to the US in 1987. I first began working with Dr. Boyd in 1989 and I was moved by his compassion and commitment to excellence. Initially my work was clinical but over time I began to believe that I was more needed in the managerial area. I have the opportunity to assist patients with their fears, their schedules, their insurance and finances. I brought the ideals of fairness and hard work I learned in my country and my family to our workplace. Together with my husband we have raised two wonderful daughters as American citizens and they will be attending prestigious universities in the next years. I love my life in New York and my friendship and interactions with my patients and friends.

Dr. Stanley Boyd is the best. After several years with Dr. Boyd, I left for a brief time for an in network dentist thinking that I would save money, but there were always extra charges so that brought me right back to the team at Healthy Chelsea Dental.

Nobody wants to go to the dentist but Dr. Boyd and his whole staff make it as pleasant as possible. Dr. Boyd is the sweetest, caring man. I had some serious work done spread out of 6 sessions so I became a regular. He made me feel comfortable and made the process as painless as he could. The front staff is great and the assistants are helpful and sweet.

The staff at Chelsea Smiles is amazing. They take great care of you, are very attentive and kind. The ladies at the front desk are the best I’ve encountered anywhere. They never seem to make a mistake, are always trying to accommodate your needs, and are friendly and kind. Hector who cleans your teeth is great at his job, and also a really wonderful guy. The dentists are incredible, especially Dr. Boyd who always makes me laugh as he’s elbow deep in my mouth. He did my porcelain veneers and I’m thrilled with them over 5 years later.
Seriously, I can’t recommend this place enough. I actually look forward to my dentist appointments because of the incredible staff. Not to mention the beautiful, clean office and short wait times. It really doesn’t get any better.

Best Dentist I’ve ever had. Both Stan and Hector are extremely capable, thorough and caring. I’ve been going to them for over 5 years and keep coming even though I’ve moved out of NYC. Their offices are always impeccably clean and it shows that they care about the details. They’re usually on time but I’ve had to wait 10 – 15 minutes on occasion. The front desk staff is also very pleasant to work with.

As someone with horrible anxiety on the best of days, just thinking about the dentist is enough to send me into a panic attack.
Except when I visit Dr Boyd. Dr Boyd and his staff do everything to make me completely comfortable. From blankets and pillows to someone sitting with me when the Doc is busy so I’m not alone.
This place is absolutely the best. I barely get nervous about the dentist when I know I’m coming here.
Unfortunately for Dr Boyd, this means that he is never allowed to retire. Poor guy.

dr boyd is gentle but effective. i recently came in with what i thought to be an unsolvable tooth dilemma and he knew immediately exactly what it was and what to do (bite adjustment). his fillings have been painless and i am truly one terrified patient. now, i’m not saying i want to go back anytime soon if you know what i mean — but when i do need to go to the dentist — there is no other for me. and the support staff are all absolute sweethearts from the desk to the hygienists. the best.

For most of my life, I was absolutely petrified to go to the dentist. I started going to Dr. Boyd when I was in highschool have been going to him ever since. He is kind, caring, funny and an all around amazing dentist. Never makes you feel uncomfortable or have a bad experience. I’ve already recommended him to all of my friends and they all have the same thing to say. 5⁄5 stars, hands down.

Dr. Boyd’s office is always a warm environment. From Clara and Hector to Dr. Boyd himself, everyone is always nothing but courteous and efficient. I’ve not had to wait long for my appointments which is also great. Dr. Boyd is consistently using the best in dental technology today — he removed and redid a filling with an incredible laser that was absolutely painless and the local numbing wore off by the time I got back to my office. I highly recommend Dr. Boyd for professional service and the best results.

Dr. Boyd is deeply caring and compassionate. His staff is very friendly and caring. Before Dr. Boyd I had an excellent dentist but he was not as warm and kind. I dreaded going. Now I always enjoy going and my teeth are in the best shape ever.

Dr. Boyd saved my teeth. After a terrible experience with a previous dentist, Dr. Boyd restored the work that was done and made my teeth good as new.
