Business Owner
Dr. Degenhardt is board certified in family medicine with further certification in medical acupuncture. His training and experience complements traditional medicine with tested and effective alternative means for an «out-of-the-box» thinking, encompassing diverse approaches to best understand the nature of illnesses and establish optimally effective treatment plans.
His international experience include tropical medicine in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; Chinese medicine in Guangxi, China; and family medicine/natural healing at the Zuni Indian Reservation in New Mexico. He has also worked extensively with diverse cultural communities of New York City, including the Japanese and Chinese communities (Dr. Degenhardt is fluent in both Japanese and Mandarin), and the under-served Manhattan’s Lower East-side and Chinatown population.
Dr. Degenhardt is a member of the teaching faculty at NYU School of Medicine and Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City.
