Something In Mind

Lovely store, but the zipper of a dress I bought ripped as soon as I bought the dress. They would only give me store credit, and it’s my job to keep track of the receipt. Doesn’t feel very fair considering the merchandise was defective…

Rarely do I stumble upon a boutique store in Manhattan with abundant selection, great service and fair pricing — Something in Mind is absolutely one of the rare find.
I walked in Something in Mind on a freezing February night and was immediately welcomed by the owner/​merchandiser. She was very attentive in helping me trying on multiple garments, and generous in giving me fashion tips. Thanks to her consultancy, I picked up a long cardigan with large black/​white pattern and a fluffy silver crop jacket, both later on received compliments at workplace and party. I was so glad I did not stay in comfort zone but went with her advice for something «bold and edgy». Also, both of the pieces were reasonably priced ($ 100ish per item with discount).
I would recommend Something in Mind to any ladies who enjoy boutiques and embrace their individual fashion senses. No mass production items will be found here. The shopping experience is exceptional compared to their counterparts such as Pinkyotto or INA.
