Smiley 360

I have been a member of Smiley 360 for a long time now. The name «Smiley 360» more refers to the site for people like me who feel like trying random products out for free in exchange for sharing in various ways with people (both online and in person). Overall, it is a marketing company and brands can contact them on their other site that is called «Social Media Link».
It is completely free for the general public who want to sign up to try free products. I do not know if they charge at all for companies who want to use their service for promotion. They appear to have an easy way to contact them though for finding out about that.
So this review is just for my experience with Smiley as a consumer who likes to try out products. When I first signed up, it was pretty good and I was offered quite a few products to try and share about. But now its changed. Perhaps tons of people know about this now and too many use it. I don’t know. The reality of it now for me is that I get to try maybe one or two products per year. Not great, but it is free, so I keep my account and continue to participate.
The way it works is they have what they call «missions» which are offers to try a product. You do have to qualify for missions though and I found that I pretty much rarely qualify for anything. Also, missions are offered to people selectively. The whole thing seems rather selective to me really. I have no idea who they want really for the missions I did not qualify for.
You do have to link facebook and twitter. You do have to share on facebook and twitter and face to face (in person). There are some other optional things too like sharing on a blog, youtube, etc. But it seems facebook and twitter are required now (it was not like that when I first signed up years ago).
Personally I feel this is pretty much a 2 star thing in terms of actually getting to try stuff for free. It also does take some time (though not a ton really) due to the sharing requirement. But it is completely free and optional so giving it 3 stars.
I’ll add a note that the products to try seem to be sent from Wayne, NJ but their main business is located in New York.
