We match Local Pros to customers, enabling the customer to choose what they want done (painting, plumbing, handyman services, exterminators, etc) and when they want the service completed. Contractors then compete for your business while you keep your identity and contact details completely private until the job is awarded to a particular Pro. ServiceRunner makes hiring local Pros easier than ever. ServiceRunner helps you to find Cleaners, Exterminators, Garbage Removal, Handyman, Electrician, Painting, Plumbing, Roofing, Personal Trainers, Flooring Pros, Pet Services, Locksmith, & Carpentry service and companies in New York City and surrounding areas.

History

Established in 2011.

Scott Lesser founded the business a couple years ago when he found there existed a disconnect between customers and contractors. As a landlord, he was always looking for new local Pros to fix his properties, and his friends were always asking for recommendations for Pros. Thus, Scott decided to solve the issue of hiring local Pros and established Ser​viceRun​ner​.com, enabling customers to set their own terms for the work they want done, and allowing contractors to get additional business during their slower weeks.

Manager

With a background in programming, Alexander (Sasha) Nisenzon explored his passion for technology as a web consultant, founding Nisen​zon​.com, a successful web development firm focused on creative web expertise for small businesses. After graduating from Boston University’s School of Management, with concentrations in both Finance and Operations & Technology Management, Sasha pursued a role in business development, joining the Ser​viceRun​ner​.com team as its Director of User Acquisition.
