I contacted Secure Data Recovery in a devastated state after several local computer repair places told me my external hard drive failed and my files were not recoverable. I dealt with a sensitive, professional and efficient SDR representative named Mitchell. He took my call with patience and expertise, which was not an easy feat because I am deaf and I used an assisted phone call. It was his first assisted call, but he handled it like a pro. He answered all my questions (I had many!) and assured me my data could be recovered. He immediately emailed me a pre-​paid overnight FedEx label to ship my drive directly to the closest SDR lab. The next morning, Mitchell personally emailed me to let me know my drive had already been received. Even though I selected standard service, within a few hours, he emailed me again to tell me the diagnostics were done. I was amazed by the speed! Due to my disability, Mitchell even took it upon himself to arrange a special payment plan for me. I have never had a company do so much to ensure my satisfaction and comfort level. My files were recovered in half the predicted time and I am thrilled to report that every single one of them is back! My whole life was chronicled on that drive, so you could say SDR literally saved my life. I hope that I’m never in this situation again, but I feel secure knowing SDR will be there to help. Secure Data Recovery Services successfully performed a tough recovery on a failed RAID10 for one of my clients. Multiple drives had failed but they worked hard to get the data back. DriveSavers original quote was ridiculous & even though I managed to get them reduce it almost in half it was still considerably more than these guys charged. They were easy to reach, easy to deal with, & I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

These guys are great. My HD was totally busted, and I busted it further by trying to fix it myself. No one would fix it without ending it away, and I was quoted as high as $ 4000.
Secure Data was responsive over the phone, sent shipping labels, and did free diagnostics with an estimate. Their pricing was by far the lowest for recovery, and they even discounted for non-​emergency service.
They were reasonable, helpful, reassuring during a stressful moment, and most importantly very low priced. It was worth what I paid to have ALL the data on the drive back, exactly as it was. Folder structure and everything.
Before sending you your data back, they will show you the results of the recovery online so you know exactly what they retrieved from your drive.
Whole thing was easy, and to be honest the Secure Dagta guys seemed more excited to get my data back to me than I was.
If you’ve ever called or emailed data retrieval places in your area when your drive dies, you know their answers and price quotes will leave you skeptical as to whether your data will be saved, and/​or whether it will be worth the price. These guys delivered on both fronts. 5 stars
