We are a family owned business and are originally from Scotland. We have been in business for 16 years so most of the Upper East side knows of us. My father (Brian) has been a dog trainer for 42 years and has trained some of the most prestigious clients. He trained the Queen’s Archers dogs and the Scottish Gun Champion dogs to name a few. As his daughter (Sylvia), I have been a trainer, walker and boarder for 16 years as I found my calling when I came to the states.

Our Boy Bennie has been lovingly walked and cared for when we are away by Sylvia and Brian for more than 2 years. They’re both reliable, responsive and very kind to the dogs in their charge. We are thankful to know them and so is Bennie.

I like to tell the story of how I hired Sylvia… I followed her down the street! She was walking a chihuahua and was engaging with the dog, kneeling down next to her at the corner etc. In a neighborhood full of pack-​walkers who handle way too many dogs for my comfort level (while wearing earphones!) she really stood out. I asked for her card and called her soon thereafter to come meet me and newly adopted little terrier. It’s been almost 9 years now that Sylvia and Brian have been walking my Lola and now my second dog Leo walks with them as well. They are wonderful, conscientious, hardworking and reliable people who love dogs.

If you’re looking for one of the best dog walkers in the city, then you have just found them. Brian and Sylvia are absolutely AMAZING! We got our rescue dog Buddy, a coonhound/​rottweiler mix, 5 years ago at the age of 6 months and have been using Brian and Sylvia from the start. Not only did they train Buddy obedience and how to walk on a leash but we were shocked when Buddy knew how to sit, give his paw, heel, etc. Brian and Sylvia are 100% reliable, trustworthy and the only truly experienced dog walkers I have ever met. We are grateful to have met them and we credit Buddy’s great disposition and training to them.

Words cannot express how wonderful Brian and Sylvia are with Sammy, my nearly 5-​year-​old pit mix. Sammy and I am so fortunate to know them. They have been walking and boarding Sam since I adopted him four years ago and I couldn’t be happier. I don’t think raising a very energetic and playful dog without them being involved would have resulted in the happy dog I have today. Sammy absolutely loves them and so do I. Brian and Sylvia are knowledgeable and extremely dependable individuals who go beyond what’s expected. They take their responsibilities very seriously and are truly a dog’s best friends. You’ll feel as I do if they were to walk your special pup.
