Salad Pangea

The Worst. Waited 2 hours for a single salad to be delivered. It’s missing 2 ingredients, the green goddess dressing taste like mayo and I had to call 3 times just to reach someone on the phone. Food is junk. I’ll stick with my Chop’t from now on.

Best build your own salad in the neighborhood. Fresh and interesting add ins that you don’t usually see in other salad places. The place is clean and reasonably priced for what you get. My new go to place for a healthy salad! Forget all the other surrounding places!

No surprise this place has a promotion– I’m surprised they are even still in business. Anything to get customers, when your customer service is that offensive. I ordered a salad on seamless – expected delivery: 25 minutes later. Fast forward: 1 hour 30 min after I placed my order and the salad shows up without the baguette. Horrifying. I strongly suggest ordering from one of the bigger salad chains: hale and hearty, just salad, and even sweetgreen (if you want to treat yourself).
To sum it all up, Pangea is the salad place version of wilted iceberg with curdled blue cheese: STAY AWAY

Terrible service, servers have an awful attitude, apparently they don’t have the time or energy to deal with you (even though theres like 3 customers max always) they throw the utensils in a careless/​angry manner. Ingredients are sloppy and all over the place mixed in with others. Greens tasted like plastic. NEVER EVER coming back here specially when theres many other salad bar options on the block where you can actually have a better 30min lunch break from work.

Came here a few days ago for the first time and tried their classic cobb salad. I came in after 3pm and the place was pretty slow. Just like any other salad establishment you pick a famous salad or your create your own salad. Pretty quick but the salad lacked something. It didn;t have enough chicken or egg or bacon. I felt like I was just eating a head of lettuce.

Salad Pangea has decent salad and I like that they have a discounted salad happy hour. The staff are usually helpful about recommending different mix ins. The salad itself is pretty much just ok. The vegetables are often so undercooked, I have to pick them out. Raw broccoli I can sort of understand, but the raw chunks of sweet potato are unappealing.

Tasty, fresh and unique salads. The Moroccan salad is awesome with the dates and goat cheese. I was so tired of the everyday lunch salad and I cant wait to try the others. On the pricey side but still delicious.

I love this place! They have really fresh ingredients and really awesome stuff like roasted carrots and havarti cheese. The service is quick and easy, super good for grab and go lunch! My favorite is a beet and goat cheese salad I make myself with their Granny Smith apples, walnuts and cranberries with balsamic dressing:)

First heck in gets you a small soup with the purchase of a salad.
I got the Moroccan lentil salad (9.49; arugula with a mix of lentils and garbanzo beans, cherry tomatoes, green and red bell peppers garnished with a medoal date and Moroccan goat cheese with Moroccan spiced lemon dressing) because I was feeling adventurous and wanted to try something new. I was pleasantly surprised with he combo of flavors and really give u that Moroccan feel.

They have such unique salad ingredients! Try the spiced Moroccan goat cheese — it’s AMAZING! Avoid the smoothies though — they added too much ice to mine so it wasn’t great. But I’m not even going to deduct a star for that because the salad ingredients are so great. Falafel is also a great ingredient there.

Nice cute place. However, their salads are way overpriced especially considering how small of an amount they give you of each item. The only thing you see a lot of are your greens! In addition, the service here is only mediocre. The guy did a terrible and messy job of mixing everything. I was more pissed when I told the guy enough dressing, yet he still insisted to add more. Really?! Won’t find myself coming here. Not worth your money — can probably find much cheaper and better places in the area.

Ordered the morrocean lentil salad through a new free delivery service called «stadium». The salad was packed with tons of veggies and special surprises… cayanne goat cheese, falafel, medajool dates,.etc. the flavors worked well together. the only drawback was the morrocean spiced lemon dressing was a little too hot… we needed ice cream to cut through the heat. not such terrible luck:-)

Any redeeming factor about Salad Pangea is its affordable price for the salad compared to other similar restaurants, but I probably wouldn’t go back. I got the Build Your Own Salad, and was quite disappointed by the quality.
The base price of $ 7.49 includes lettuce blend (romaine, arugula, spinach, iceberg, mixed greens, or kale), five base toppings, and dressing. They charge you $ 0.50 for additional topping and $ 0.89 for specialty toppings.
I got the arugula with cherry tomatoes, roasted red peppers, roasted butternut squash, sweet potato, and pico de gallo with extra butternut squash and roasted eggplant spread. The total came out to be just under $ 10. I thought, «Great deal!» until I got the food. Even though I requested extra butternut squash, about 45% of the salad toppings were roasted red peppers and cherry tomatoes. The eggplant spread was basically mashed eggplant with really strong garlic flavors. I probably saw five chunks of raw onions for the pico de gallo, and nothing else. The sweet potato was good, but again there was maybe two tablespoons worth of it.

I have been regular for almost a year now; very happy customer every time. Great selection of topics, dressings, friendly staff and never took more than 5 mins to get my salad.
So all in all, bye bye Chop’t and it’s long lines.

Pretty good spot! Fairly priced for the build-​your-​own salad. Well, at least depending on what you put on there, I guess.
They have a good variety of ingredients that are neatly kept and not spilling into each other. Lots of dressings to choose from too, as well as several low calorie options.
I can’t speak for the soup or sandwiches, but they looked good as well. I’ll definitely stop back by this place for lunch.

Well darn! We had a really good thing going there for a minute, Salad Pangea.
I was craving the quinoa salad today. Love that thing. But sadly my experience was less than stellar. The typically friendly counter men were grumpy and short. I get it, it’s lunch time and you’re slammed but… it just wasn’t the same.
The salad was super small, very few ingredients added (total of four cherry tomato halves? Dude c’mon), poorly chopped (my feta was just chillin’ in a huge chunk at the bottom of my bowl) and they didn’t stick in bread. Or even ask if I wanted bread?
When I say small, I’m talking a good few inches of air at the top of the container. Not to name names, but other salad restaurants near by allllways fill the bowl to the brim. Just sayin.
I’ll give you another shot one of these days, SP. Until then… step it up.

Pricey & I wasn’t crazy about the dressing on my salad. Staff was friendly enough but the lack of italian dressing as an option & what I felt was exorbitant cost for a water + salad will not inspire me to return. The tomato soup I got for free for the check-​in was okay.

In my opinion, Salad Pangea is pretty overpriced… Unless you wait til the afternoon for their happy hour. It’s $ 2 off any salad or wrap! Great deal for a late, late lunch or for snagging a quick dinner on the way home from the office.
My favorite is to build my own wrap, and have chicken, baby spinach, tomatoes, and avocado. I’m simpler than most, but I really recommend this one. The avocado negates the need for dressing, and their chicken is usually pretty darn good.
They also have a juice bar, but so far I haven’t had the opportunity to indulge!
All in all, an appreciated healthy lunch option in this area!

I am a salad lover and I can say for sure, this place is worth it! I am a fan of fresh salad and I do eat salad with very light dressing. It is a good salad to me if it’s good without dressing which Salad Pangea has been successful at and their excellent customer service! This is why they deserve 5 Stars in my book!
I was so happy that a new salad spot has opened since I started going to school around this area a little more than a year ago. I have night classes so I will be in the area to hunt for dinner. Salad Pangea made my wallet much happier when they offered a Salad deal between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM, you get $ 2.00 off! My usual salad is called The Vacationer. The Vacationer allows you to build your own salad with any base greens, 4 vegetables, 2 premium ingredients, 1 Cheese, and 1 protein. I have every reason to be thankful for this great deal and get $ 2.00 off on top of it! The Grilled Chicken have this barbecue grilled taste to it which made it perfect for me! Everything was just perfect to me! I come here once a week and I never got tired of it!
In addition to fresh salad and great value, I would like to point out the employees in this place. The staff is always very polite and I remember the first time I stepped into this spot, a young guy with the glasses explained to me how their system works (I already knew but I just wanted to see how helpful they are). He explained it very well, made sure I felt welcomed, and very enthusiastic to serve me. Excellent customer service earns them the 5^th star!

So this is a salad bar with wraps and soups and smoothies. Tbh, I don’t really like choosing toppings because I’m super indecisive so I usually end up getting everything making it super expensive or taste like absolute weirdness.
Luckily for me they have already made out wraps and salads– all you need to do is pick out the dressing, plus they have recommended dressings which is awesome.
The service here is super attentive and they were able to make my salad and wrap in like five minutes. Yum!
Also I feel like the place itself is very clean. Maybe it’s light colored wooden floors or the lights, but I almost feel the cleanliness coming through. The grade pending app gives salad Pangea an A but says they don’t clean their food surfaces.
Anyhow, I ordered the Cyprus salad and the New York steak wrap and both of them taste amazing– plus with the deal ($ 10 for $ 20), so $ 5 each.
