Sakura Massage Spa

I know Unilocal only gets used to express negative reviews, but it really was so bad that I feel like I need to say something. My massage experience was way more sexual than I felt comfortable with and the massage itself was fairly bad. I did protest halfway through my hour appointment (though it only ended up being about 45 minutes) and the unwanted genital touching subsided. I left feeling very unsettled by the whole experience and after tipping 20%, was scolded and was asked for double. Truly an insane experience.

Terrible and overpriced. The budget place that was there before was so much better. This place looks cute, but it was overpriced and easily the worst message I’ve ever had.

I really wanted to love this place, but I left underwhelmed and a bit annoyed. My 30 minute massage was done entirely under a towel: no white sheet or robe… just a towel that hardly covered me from my shoulders to below my butt. There was no oil, just a rough towel being pushed against my skin. If you’re into roughly textured towels and acupressure, you might be into this. I paid $ 35 for 30 minutes with a $ 10 tip. I texted my partner at 6:27, moments before the masseuse walked in. After a few minutes, the masseuse walked out and reentered, not sure if there was a masseuse switch or not, since masseuse never introduced herself to me. I texted my partner again at 6:49 when I was already dressed, settled and out the door. It was very reminiscent of a boardwalk massage and nothing special. Probably targeted at tourists with sore feet!
